Thanks for shout out bro! I honestly didn’t like the 1300 when I tested, maybe because it was stock. My GS with the BT moto tune and Akra exhaust sounds amazing. I say go for a nice lightly used 2022 GS. 😊
@@Yo-Ken So far, so good! A little over 10K miles now, with no issues of course....except for the broken front blinker. I walked into it, and broke it off 🙄 I was able to fix it I think, but haven't taken it offroad yet to see if my "repair" will hold up. If it doesn't, I'll have to replace the blinker and will probably go with something not quite as wide....up front anyway. Or at least something more flexible. Or maybe I'll trade it in on a 1300 😆
Yo Ken, OMG..you sold your GS!! Well, we had the same bike but mine was a 2019 Exclusive (same color). The one big advantage with the GS over the KTM & Ducati is the shaft drive. Yeah, they are faster but for me, who keeps bikes for awhile and does bike vacations, speed isn't a big factor. My 1250GS is fast enough! I would say go for the 1300! Would love to know how you think it compares to your 1250GS!
Yeah, what a mistake that was... my riding buddies always break my chops about selling it. I agree, the shaft drive and the suspension is a big advantage in my book.
Hey Ken, guess what? I just picked up a 2024 yellow bumblebee 765! Wanted to tell you to set the dash to the blue color, bright. Then tell us if you can see the screen better, I don't have any issues with seeing the tach in the blue color.... try it.
I have tried every color. There is a reason most performance bikes and cars have a large sweeping tach. I have been racing cars for over 40 years. I have never seen anyone use a digital tach to change gears. I'm jealous you have that ability, especially with the way the Triple is geared.
@@Yo-Ken It's probably more of the issue that you are a 'professional', having that 40 years and have developed a keen sense of the art of gearing; where as I am just a regular Joe. Good luck and I enjoy the vids.
From what I hear and gather the new GS is plagued with issues ranging from battery to imitating the cold non starts of a KTM… I would wait at least one more year…
GS. Best all around bike. Facts!!

I thought about it a 1250, but I'm still going with the 1300... going to roll the dice.
@@Yo-Ken nice!!! Looking forward to seeing it soon !
Me I’m personally looking at getting a F650GS Dakar, I believe it’s the first entry level GS they made back in the mid 2000s.
Cool.
Looking forward to seeing which 1300 you get 😆 My vote is for the green one..........that is a good lookin bike right there!!
Looking forward to is also... hows the GS been treating you?

@@twobikesandadroneHa... judging by your Goldwing, I don't see you ever getting rid of your 1250:)
@@Yo-Ken You're right there! Me and the GoldWing are in our 24th year, so me and the GS have a lot of catching up to do still!!
Would love to see your video on the 1300.

Would you consider a Ducati Multistrada?
NVM you answered my question
Which aftermarket grip do you use to make it bigger?
Grip Puppies... your can find them on Amazon.
@@Yo-Ken that’s a great cheap solution! I also considered using tennis grip.

That's the same things I heard about my 2020. Never had any issues. I'm willing to take a chance :)
@@Yo-Ken at least we both now that BMW warranty is awesome…
How fast does this thing go? Was that 135mph? I am only on my phone.
I'm thinking 165-170, I just need to find a road that I can stretch it out.,
@@Yo-Ken for that you want a race track. You don't want something jumping out on the road at that pace.
@@Yo-Ken glad to hear the old KZ is still in good order. ☺
