I've been doing these for years as I just got fed up with picking slugs out of my lettuce then eating in fear that I've missed one (We've all been there haven't we?) (comment below), I'm a little late this year as my tomatoes wouldn't stop cropping, But I guess I should of just kept them on the bench. anyway a great job for Sept/October and again in Feb. What do you think?

For almost totally insect free, place another hanging basket on top covered with insect mesh.
