She fills the room despite being in a corner, holds the knife yet at knifepoint, and controls the scene even as a supporting actress. This is HER game to win, as a grander Bene Gesserit match to oversee. My props to Seydoux, Butler, and Rampling for their powerhouse performances
i became such a huge fan of lea from this scene, i love seeing her 'variation' of beauty in such a non typically described as beautiful planet as giedes prime. something about how she carried this role is mesmerizing and intriguing

The Harkonnens have this bug motif, their vehicles are shaped like them, they call gladiator-slaves "bugs" and when surrounded by picadors look snared in a spiderweb. But here Feyd is the bug and Margot is the spider.
Something about princess Irulan at 3:45 standing to the side and looking with calm intensity really adds to this scene. I could watch this move 50 times and still pick out amazing little details like that. Dennis Villeneuve really knows how to capture facial expressions to give weight to a scene.

seeing this in the film was amazing , my favourite thing i've ever seen in a cinema this sequence , the whole geidi prime sequence was my favourite along side the speech by paul to the fremen , close 2nd is paul killing feyd

I think I have watched this video/this scene about a thousand times now. The Voice is sooo alluring to watch/listen. This really was incredibly well produced.
Something that keeps puzzling me is why he had to do the same test as Paul? I thought Paul only had to do it because of his genes, being Jessica's son, but Feyd isn't the son of anyone from the Bene Gesserit?
The test of Feyd as far as I remember was only in the movie, probably to make it clearer to the audience that Feyd is another potential Kwisatz Haderach and therefore a proper threat to Paul for the final showdown. In the book, Paul kills Feyd rather easily and it's actually Lady Fenring's husband who could've been the real threat to him, had he chosen to fight as the Emperor commanded him. But since Count Fenring was a failed Kwisatz Haderach himself, he acknowledged Paul as the real deal and refused the order.
This is exact depiction of how Women control men 😂😂😂 Rather how strongest Men bend and Kneel in front of women... Bene gesserit basically showed how women play mind games.
