Wonderful video! Do you happen to remember the name of the fondue restaurant you show in Lucerne with the beautiful lights inside along the water? We're going to be there this winter and would love to check it out. Thank you!
Thank you, happy you enjoyed it! I don’t know the name of the restaurant, but it is right next to the bridges in a very city center, so you should be able to find it very easy! And - enjoy your trip (and all the planning and searching which goes before - usually it is almost as interesting as the actual trip!)! ❄️
Люцерн очень красивый город и самое замечательное - возможность попасть в настоящую зимнюю сказку всего за несколько минут. Такой контраст! Горы, солнце, снег! И деревья в снегу!
@ola-be8vu it’s a short route around the mountain top - really easy to get to from the cable car. If I remember correctly, it’s called the Dragon walk or path 🐉
There are a couple of nice hiking trails there, so in the summer, you can easly spend there at least a couple of hours. In winter, the trails are blocked with snow, so there is not much to do, except enjoy the views and the sun. In fact, a lot of locals go there to escape bad weather, as the gondola usually goes above the clouds.
I think it's a different one - if I'm not mistaken, the James Bond' cable car is closer to the Interlaken area (might be wrong though! :) ) . Thank you, happy you liked the video!
I think you’ll get a discount, but still will need to pay for the gondola/cable car/cog rail part of the trip. The conditions do change, check validity before your trip and enjoy your visit!
The location is beautiful indeed! As for the cost, we had a rail pass, so the cost was significantly lower than if paid separately. I don't have the latest price, but you can check online - sbb.ch has the latest prices and deals (do check those out - they could be quite good, and also check opening hours for cable cars if travelling outside of season as some might be closed for a few weeks).
It gives you a discount- depending on season you can also take gondola one way and get back on a cog rail on the other side of the mountain. If you take the train down, the train back to Luzern is included into the Swiss pass offer
It’s beautiful in winter too💪

Love the video. How much time would one need to spend on the mountain to comfortably covers everything? Without the ski or snow activities 😂…

Is that the mountain that had the James Bond car a few years ago? Great video!

Wonderful sights! How much was the cost in total from Lucerne?

Is the Gondola ride free under Swiss Pass ?

What time do you get there? On February or other month?
If I remember correctly it was around end of January/beginning of February
