I will be going to Sursee for a month or two. Dating a girl there and will finally meet her in person and spend a few months with her there.
Hotel's cost £150 per night or more (I am British). I cannot stay outside of Sursee due to her schedule (she's busy) so I need to stay in Sursee.
Is that a normal hotel price in Switzerland?
A month in a hotel there is in USD $6,021!!!!!!!!!
And obviously no kitchen. So hotel's are out of the question. Eating out is expensive enough as it is in countries that aren't as expensive as Switzerland. Eating out in Switzerland everyday for 2 months + hotel would require Elon Musk's credit card.
Airbnb options are pretty much non existent in that area, and those that do exist involve a transfer of airbnb accommodation (the stay split between multiple airbnb home/apartment locations) and I would not get a place to myself.
And it costs as much as a Hotel pretty much.
What other accommodation options are there?

We took the boat ride from Luzern to Alpnachstad and I have never seen so much beauty in my life. I felt like I was in heaven. Highly recommend!
We also stayed in a traditional Alpine chalet hotel a few minutes outside Luzern. We had a rental car. Would definitely recommend it too.. we loved it.

Hi @zaram131 how did you find parking establishment in central Luzern and to get to pilatus? Also which hotel did you stay at? I have 2 nights in Luzern and have hired a car. I'll be visiting central Luzern and Pilatus.

Excellent recommendations! In close walking distance from the lion and the glacier garden there is also the impressive 360° panorama depicting the internment of the Bourbaki army during the Franco-Prussian war (1870).
A fun factoid: a certain German poet by the name of Ludwig Rellstab wrote in 1832 that the moonlight shining over Lake Lucerne reminded him of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14 in c# minor. Within 10 years (give or take) the name "Moonlight Sonata" has firmly stuck. (Beethoven died in 1827.)

Hi nice information 😊. We will be visiting Switzerland this April just wanted to know can we use the Tell- pass from Interlaken to lucerne as we hv made our base at Interlaken and we wish to spend entire day in lucern doing day trip . Plz advise

Thoughts on staying at Gutsch or Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern(since the Schweizerhof is so much more expensive)

No way… even two of them in one day would be too much and you‘d never be able to enjoy the surroundings!
Can i bring my Drone to Switzerland ? small one
I'm assuming yes, there are lots of drone videos from Switzerland on YT. If you are really concerned, ask the nearest Swiss consulate.
I think the rule is that the drone is below 250 grams
Nice video, but still confusing. You need to put up a map and explain where to find these places. Alexis's accent threw me off. I couldn't always understand him. I still can't figure out how you get from Pilatus to Fräkmüntegg. Good videos, but could be improved. I'm going in May.
Also, you should include the cost of taking the funicular and gondolas, and boat ride.
Does Pickwick's still serve beer to 16-year-olds?
Beer & wine is legal to drink/purchase at 16 all over Switzerland! Liquor is 18+
@@TheTravelingSwiss I should have mentioned the 14-year-old girls I drank with at 16. They also served kids Campari. I never saw anyone turned away by a bartender in Europe, until we got to Holland.
