I've had one since 2020 and I flashed pixel experience on it a year ago and boy is it great
Something to emphasize about this phone is the necessity to debloat the nonsensical bloat from the phone with adb. It massively improved my ram utilization at rest and battery life. Something to consider if you haven't done that already.

@AsKaNeL tAnKeR i have LG G710n and I'm super struggling to unlock bootloader. Can't even access to recovery mode and fastboot mode. How did you unlock the bootloader of yours?

i still use this phone as my tertiary phone for home use, for now its battery health is 80%. it kinda feel choppy/lag whenever i use it everynight due to me constantly using my main phones with 120hz refresh rate phone.
still got the G7 and still has good battery..i refuse to get rid of it lol..my g8 battery needs replaced so it goes into the 'someday to take care of pile'

Love my LG G7 and am switching back to it after having my pixel 6 pro for a while now. Just miss it so much. Just want to see how long my battery last. Good point on the speaker as that's the main reason I bought it. Sold me as soon as the sales rep played Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song.
You're not utilising the boombox speaker correctly.
According to LG, at the time, the trick was to place the phone down on a small empty wooden box the sound would amplify much louder with better base. I had this phone and i tried it and it really did make a difference but it wasn't very practical. Anyway thanks for the retrospective video .
My favourite was lg g6.
I had to replace the battery 6 months after ownership. It literally started to swell and break the back of the phone off. Not to mention, the charging port stopped changing 😫 l
I tossed my sim in my LG G8 to use it for a while but kept getting "Carrier services has stopped" error every few minutes. I was ready to smash the damn thing after trying every fix imaginable.
Can u do the other older phone like from oneplus pixel etc?
I plan on getting a lg g7 or lg g8 but I'm gonna be using the lg g8 for youtube content and UA-cam live streaming right now I'm currently using the Samsung note 9

@Ryan Dean the v60 is way better and will be more future proof and has the dual screen functionality, which is cool. I wouldn't necessarily recommend lg g8 in 2023.

Still using my G7, back glass shattered, charging port damage but wireless charger works like magic. Boombox still kicks. Really a good phone.
you can cheap replace charging port, depend on country but if you watch some movies with repair you repair it with 30$
I miss my G7 I used to own this 2018-2020 then upgraded to the Samsung galaxy note 10+. The Samsung galaxy note 10+ wasn't bad in fact it was a very great phone but I still miss my G7. I have the Samsung galaxy s22 now and still miss the G7

The display will be like 50-70 bucks and back panel and battery, so overall it maybe 100 bucks. Just get a used lg g8
