Seams like this version is darker. It has less then that narrator feeling. This seams he is just the teller of the story. The version we know today has a more comedy feel to him.

agreed, i think the more comedic version is much more entertaining. its just kinda stupid fun that really makes this game shine.

The story has evolved so much over the years!
As you may or may not know, The Behemoth originated as staff and/or well-known people on the website Newgrounds. Stamper is one of those super well known people on the site who eventually joined the staff.
It's nice to see a game that doesn't take itself too seriously. I was laughing constantly. I really hope the entire game has narrations like this.

This one's good, but it's nothing compared to Stamper's performance in the updated one.
Stamper's voice gives me tingly good feelings every time I start this game up.

I wish they kept this version in there.
I actually liked this version better than the one we got. Yea the narrator is toned down a bit with less lines, but the way he says stuff in this one comes off as more energetic in parts.

i saw this is 2013. cracked me up. saw the final opening cinematic. made me die. saw this again right after the final cinematic. i thought "why was i even laughing at this?" DISCLAIMER: this was not meant to be an insult. it was meant to mean that the final cinematic was much funnier.

It did over stay it's welcome a bit but it kept a smile on my face.
The voice actor is stamper. Check his videos out and know why they chose him.
Fun Fact: The guy who did this opening scene he was making it up as he went along.

Actually, they gave him basic guidlines of what to narrate, then made the video around it. The full sound clip goes on for much longer than this.
