They were. Stamper was in the sound booth and was told to "come up with whatever" or something along those lines and was given the tune, so he just went with it. I don't remember if it was all done in 1 take or not but I'm pretty certain it was.

I'd guess he takes the ones that just stand out a bit more, we're surprising in some way, had some "special moments" or just felt really really good.
