I actually think that at the beggining of the development of the Game, Stamper would have been the narrator again, 'cause in the intro he talks like he is from the Earth. But in a more advanced fase that changed and their were to lazy to make an new intro
Funny how the hat is able to take the most uncorruptable people and twist them into insanity. First Hatty and now Honey kiss faces the same thing. All that regret, anger, and suppressed emotions werr able to change even a space bear.
Yep.. Honey Kiss's story is really sad.. And that's actually a great point, Space Bear is a villain in this story but he actually kills no one, while our 'heroes' kill hundreds of people. And the only reason Honey Kiss destroys half the Solar System is that the main characters trample on his feelings.

Honey kiss just sets the attacks in motion they never personally kill anyone until they pick hatty out of the ocean and obliterate everything.

One day, during a conversation of love, some guys threw a possessed corpse of their friend into the ocean and his hat killed Honey hug. This drove Honey kiss to insanity... so much he changed. He wanted nothing more than death to satisfy his boredom. His endless life... without his one true love.
Ivošek Šterc well just shooting a green death ray from your possessed hat doesn’t mean your alive. After Hatty was tossed in the ocean, there was almost no way he could survive the drown. And we do know his friends die in water, so it’s not to strange in the lore.
It's interesting that Hatty just looks up as he's being dragged out of the water that shouldve kill him at that point and then his hat still randomly shot a laser and destroyed everything. I love this game series.

Gas giants aren't hard to destroy, depending on what element or compound it's made of, you could just chuck a lighter in there and the whole thing will combust

They must've planned half of the ideas in pit people before they finished battleblock, if you go past chapter 5,6 in battleblock there is a poster behind the protesting cats that says: "Honey hug is nigh" with a picture of the bear. SO SENSE, MUCH WOW
In battleblock theater there are posters and other references to the bear. I haven't played the game for years but i still remember that bear being in the game. He was shot in the head with the hat during the end credits too.

So lemme get this straight... In the first ending, everyone dies except Horatio’s Team, Hansel, and Honey Kiss. Horatio and Hansel meet the Speckled Horse, and by using context clues, Horatio wished to go back in time to his house when he encountered his first battle, but to have knowledge of the entire storyline (and Hansel with the Iced Creams). In the second ending, everyone makes it to safety, Horatio still have Hansel, but Honey Kiss says that everyone has gotten their dreams to come true due to Horatio, so why not him? *And then in the last few seconds, we see the Speckled Horse float towards Honey Kiss...* And *EVERYONE* lived happily ever after! (If you haven’t caught on by now, Honey Kiss wants to wish back Honey Hugs.) And now thinking of it, because Honey Kiss is like a “god” would he wish to the time where Honey Hugs was never killed? Or if Hatty was never thrown into the sea?
If you beat the game twice, you get a different ending where after the speckled horse comes to honey kiss, it cuts to honey hug shaking in the middle of the screen and he/she has THE END written on him/her and honey kiss is dancing in the backround.
I kinda fell bad for the bear. Him and his love where just doing their thing when out of nowhere a giant laser kill the poor honey hug (the other bear). Also kind make sense if you saw the ending of battleblock.

If you listen closely, you’ll notice that Stamper (the narrator) pronounces his voice differently than what he did in BattleBlock Theater. You can hear it in the part with both bears talking to each other.
Well the narrator to Battle Block that pushed you onwards and inspired you and helped you was somewhat killed by your actions. Poor Honey Hug and his death destroy Honey Kiss and he becomes this fickle and angry bear god that just fucks with everyone because he hates that the humans his love cared for so much destroyed him.
At the end when Honey Kiss asked "what about my dream?" And I saw the giraffe I was like, OOOHHHHHHHHHH MAH GAW, I know this is 2 years later but I love the ending

This ending is amazing. (Not the Encore ending) I love how its kinda a sequel to Battle block Theater. How its mostly because of that hat from Hatty and it just shows the effects it has bringing people to insanity and you see Honey Hug realizes how insane he really is after just destroying everything and killing Heratios friends. Honey Kiss then spares him and his son ,noticing all the shit he did keeping him away from the one thing he loves and cares for the most just like his Honey Hugs, and then just floats off regretting what he did and realizes he'll always be alone now.

Hunny hug was the narrator for battle block theater and hunny kiss was the narrator for pit people. The most funny part is how hunny kiss grabbed hatty from the ocean and used the laser from his hat to kill everything
There appears to be a slight difference here. The castle cutscene is completelly different in the full release. (Horatio runs up on a whole lot of stairs, only to be told by the bear that there is an elevator.)
I remember when me and my brother beat the game, and we watched the last cutscene. We both started yelling when Hatty was pulled form the ocean XD I was so confused. Now it makes sense
The end just Meade me really happy because we get to save everyone. Pip, papastrella, gluten, yosef, and Sofia. And even honeykiss gets a wish from the speckled horse!
Reading the comments of people doing mental gymnastics to convince themselves that this clearly gay relationship between fictional male space bears actually being platonic or straight (one of the bears being a girl with a masculine voice) was an unexpected but good example of people viewing queer relationships through hetero-lenses. Let space bears be gay, people.
Agreed I’ll let people think what they want But you can’t deny this is what they were obviously going for I love how gay this game is I hope to see more gay and queerness in general in the alien hominid, even if it’s harder to implement
The Bear is one of my favorite villains. He has a likeable personality, has an interesting design, is there through the entire game (most games have the bad guy in the beginning cutscene and the end cutscene), and feels like a powerful, evil villain, and definitely feels like a threat. I just wish the ending was different. There's a noticeable drop in animation quality (compare 3:30 and 9:30, it goes from a well animated intimidating cutscene to a colored visual novel). I like the story at the end, it explains a bunch of different things, but did it have to be so blatant as to literally have the bear grab Hatty Hattington and destroy everything. It was funny, but I thought this showdown between the bear and pit people was just comedy, some story, and a bunch of silly aspects. I mean, the story finish feels like improv, and not well thought out improv either (the bear picks up hatty hattington and destroys the universe, and then leaves because he is sad his lover died, and then a magical horse finds Hansel and they fly through rainbows, then the universe restarts the end. Tell me that doesn't feel like poor improv.) All in all, this is not a critic of the game as a whole, this is just my thoughts and constructive criticism on the ending part of the game. I still really like the game, the story, and all the other stuff, this is just me rambling about my personal opinion which may be wrong. (also, if you say the story doesn't matter, I agree, but they could have made it matter, which would have made the game a lot more stronger, and I would have liked it more if the story mattered more (note: Not needlessly complex, just mattered more))
I like to think the reason there is a splash of green on horatio’s shield is because honeykiss accidentally hit honeyhug with the beam and immediately realized what he was doing
Here’s what I think: During Battleblock Theatre’s open days, it put on plays. 2 of those plays were Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers (supported by the Alien and Knight prisioners). After Furbottom’s death, his cats kidnapped anyone who dared set foot on the island, forced the hat onto them and made them the new owner of battleblock. Of course, the place would be clean if they had owners, but the hat LITERALLY KILLS THE PERSON WHO WEARS IT so that’s some more support. Sadly, the last owner of BBT was none other than Hatty Hattington, who was “dead” within minutes of the hat being worn. After escaping and destroying Battleblock, you realise Hatty is dead, so you throw the guy into the ocean. But, the hat finds its way back onto his head and FIRES A LASER INTO SPACE. Meanwhile, 2 Space Bears are having a love chat, but before one’s eyes, half of Honeyhug’s face is BURNED OFF and he crashes into Earth. Nowadays, Earth is a living hell, with blood rain and the murderous Honeykiss who has nothing better to do than kill. Eventually, Horatio gets off Earth, onto the bear and sets a bomb off on his hand. Then Honeykiss grabs Hatty, destroys Earth and the Solar System and kills Horatio’s friends. In grief, he drops Horatio and his son, Hansel, on a rock floating in space. They are saved by a magic, wish-giving giraffe and they SAVE THE WORLD and ice cream. That’s my canon of the Behemoth Storyline.

Well the narrator to Battle Block that pushed you onwards and inspired you and helped you was somewhat killed by your actions. Poor Honey Hug and his death destroy Honey Kiss and he becomes this fickle and angry bear god that just fucks with everyone because he hates that the humans his love cared for so much destroyed him.
I love the closed captions giving emojis and commentary when no one is talking.
When you realize not only did Hatty caused all this, he's also STILL alive!
At the end when Honey Kiss asked "what about my dream?" And I saw the giraffe I was like, OOOHHHHHHHHHH MAH GAW, I know this is 2 years later but I love the ending

But I am so sad that when I was young and owned the older games, I didn’t understand the lore/story.
This ending is amazing. (Not the Encore ending) I love how its kinda a sequel to Battle block Theater. How its mostly because of that hat from Hatty and it just shows the effects it has bringing people to insanity and you see Honey Hug realizes how insane he really is after just destroying everything and killing Heratios friends. Honey Kiss then spares him and his son ,noticing all the shit he did keeping him away from the one thing he loves and cares for the most just like his Honey Hugs, and then just floats off regretting what he did and realizes he'll always be alone now.

Hunny hug was the narrator for battle block theater and hunny kiss was the narrator for pit people. The most funny part is how hunny kiss grabbed hatty from the ocean and used the laser from his hat to kill everything
It shows that they rushed the game to its end especially with the 2 frames of animation per second the bear has in the last cutscene.

There appears to be a slight difference here. The castle cutscene is completelly different in the full release. (Horatio runs up on a whole lot of stairs, only to be told by the bear that there is an elevator.)
It’s been so long since I watched people play this game. Just looking at the cutscenes is still as hilarious as I remembered

I love the reference BBT makes to put people it’s amazing
The Bear is one of my favorite villains. He has a likeable personality, has an interesting design, is there through the entire game (most games have the bad guy in the beginning cutscene and the end cutscene), and feels like a powerful, evil villain, and definitely feels like a threat. I just wish the ending was different. There's a noticeable drop in animation quality (compare 3:30 and 9:30, it goes from a well animated intimidating cutscene to a colored visual novel). I like the story at the end, it explains a bunch of different things, but did it have to be so blatant as to literally have the bear grab Hatty Hattington and destroy everything. It was funny, but I thought this showdown between the bear and pit people was just comedy, some story, and a bunch of silly aspects. I mean, the story finish feels like improv, and not well thought out improv either (the bear picks up hatty hattington and destroys the universe, and then leaves because he is sad his lover died, and then a magical horse finds Hansel and they fly through rainbows, then the universe restarts the end. Tell me that doesn't feel like poor improv.) All in all, this is not a critic of the game as a whole, this is just my thoughts and constructive criticism on the ending part of the game. I still really like the game, the story, and all the other stuff, this is just me rambling about my personal opinion which may be wrong. (also, if you say the story doesn't matter, I agree, but they could have made it matter, which would have made the game a lot more stronger, and I would have liked it more if the story mattered more (note: Not needlessly complex, just mattered more))

Here’s what I think:
During Battleblock Theatre’s open days, it put on plays. 2 of those plays were Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers (supported by the Alien and Knight prisioners). After Furbottom’s death, his cats kidnapped anyone who dared set foot on the island, forced the hat onto them and made them the new owner of battleblock. Of course, the place would be clean if they had owners, but the hat LITERALLY KILLS THE PERSON WHO WEARS IT so that’s some more support. Sadly, the last owner of BBT was none other than Hatty Hattington, who was “dead” within minutes of the hat being worn. After escaping and destroying Battleblock, you realise Hatty is dead, so you throw the guy into the ocean. But, the hat finds its way back onto his head and FIRES A LASER INTO SPACE. Meanwhile, 2 Space Bears are having a love chat, but before one’s eyes, half of Honeyhug’s face is BURNED OFF and he crashes into Earth. Nowadays, Earth is a living hell, with blood rain and the murderous Honeykiss who has nothing better to do than kill. Eventually, Horatio gets off Earth, onto the bear and sets a bomb off on his hand. Then Honeykiss grabs Hatty, destroys Earth and the Solar System and kills Horatio’s friends. In grief, he drops Horatio and his son, Hansel, on a rock floating in space. They are saved by a magic, wish-giving giraffe and they SAVE THE WORLD and ice cream. That’s my canon of the Behemoth Storyline.
