Useless? Not when you guys host a Disney themed trivia quiz. Thanks for the pointers. 😂 Also, those 7 Dwarf Oscar's are the only novelty awards the Academy has ever given out. Really makes Walt's special Oscar win even more special.
Useless? Yeah right! C'mon Disney Trivia night! Let's GO!!
im in
Count me in!
I wish more people would watch this because this is a real eye opener to many to be perfectly honest with you I love this Ms mojo episode truly.
As a girl who grew up watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse the fact that the Hotdog song that ends each episode is a reference to Mickey’s first words explains why of all things they chose to make the song about hotdogs and for that to be Mickey’s catchphrase. Please tell me I’m not the only one who thought that hotdogs were Mickey’s favorite food.
To go further on Number 77... Pete is also the oldest still animated character of Disney... He was created in 1925 while Mickey was created 3 years later in 1928.
10:58 if 20,622 balloons was enough to lift up Carl's house, I'd like to see how many balloons it would really take to lift up the house replica in Utah.
"Hot Dogs"......Hot Dog Dance.....ok now it all makes sense
MsMojo: Yen Sid is Disney written backwards
Creepypasta UA-camrs: Hey, that was mine!
11:16 The fact that Belle has the same eye color as me makes me so happy! 😆
Do the top 10 worst things D.W. Read has done in Author
Useless maybe....but still important to us obsessionists haha!
And us Disney nerds!😂
Minnie had to wait 40 YEARS after Mickey to have her star in the walk of fame, so shameful
Mortimer ended up as the name of Mickey's rival.
Mortimer was also the name of Minnie's cattle rancher uncle in the Mickey Mouse comics.
Yeah these are facts I don’t need to know lol 😂 my childhood is ruined enough 😅
I, a Disney adult, didn’t know some of these lol
Me neither
Another fact: Mickey's full name is Michael Theodore Mouse.
The finger pointed stemmed from Walt always having a cigarette in his hands and they photoshopped it out and to explain why his fingers were like that they made up the “Disney point”
Ariel and Merida may be the only two official Disney princesses with siblings from their original films, but it's worth noting that Cinderella and Rapunzel each gained a sister in sequel stories. They may not be blood, but they definitely count. Raps and Cass are also the first Disney princess sibling set in which not a single member has red hair.
Of course, fact number 101 has to focus around 101 Dalmatians.
wow, thanks for the facts, some I already knew.. Excellent list OH YEAH..
Powder blush was applied directly to the film strips for Snow White
Adrianna Costello (whatever her name was), the voice of Snow White, was contracted to Disney. She could not give interviews, etc, because her voice was "property" of Disney. Something like that...
Several animated scenes from films like Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast have been recycled for other, similar scenes/angles (Robin Hood, Cinderella, Snow White)
Walt Disney's wife is responsible for changing Mickey's name from Mortimer; she thought it sounded too pompous
Disney turned down making Back to the Future, deeming it too dark or too juevenile
Happy 100th, Disney
I can’t believe they glossed over 101 dalmatians being the first live action Disney remake a 1996.
Pete the cat is Disney's oldest consecutively owned character. When Walt left Universal, they let him keep ownership of Pete.
I only knew about the sorcerer name was yensid in the kingdom hearts games and the fact it spelled disney backwards (btw i couldnt remember if yensid was mentioned in fantasia or Fantasia 2000 and i only saw the first one and i vaguely remembered it)
Disney created Yen Sid?! i'm not going to lie, i though Square Enix created him for Kingdom Hearts even though i know Tetsuya Nomura didn't create him, he doesn't have spikey hair :'D
Go watch Fantasia.
...or play "Epic Mickey."
In 1933, Walt Disney stated that Mickey and Minnie were married in private life.
"Did you know my name spelled backwards is Dis... Oops they are already gone."
I always felt that what Gaston says during his fight with the beast seemed wrong. It didn't sync right.
Now I know why.
You know what else "Yen Sid" and "Disney" are anagrams for?
?
Before Frozen, you could find a lot of articles and stuff about Walt Disney Freezing himself for 100 years until they found a cure for rare cancer, and then he would be brought back to life once they restarted his heart...but now the ONLY Frozen that gets mentioned is the films.
I wonder how much Disney is paying for this
there not paying for anything why do people keep saying that
@@jimbo9208 because people feel that because most watchmojo videos have something to do with Disney
@@jimbo9208 it happens with game reviews all the time too (people saying that) and it annoys me just as much there
@@sjmhadsock4586 so they do videos on everything
@@jimbo9208 yeah
I actually knew some of these before starting the video 😁😁

Average Disney fans: These are useless
Absolute Disney fanatics (like me): I LOVE knowing these facts!
I already knew that the evil queen's name was grimhilda
At least pronounce the names correctly. Daveigh is pronounced "de-VAY", not "Day-vee".
Disney Channel movies like HSM & HSM2 sucked sooooo much yag >< too much pooncy bs YAG
I am not surprised that Walt Disney is blasting scents and smells all over the park. The idea is to keep people hungry enough so they are never full, so they keep on generating money. A lot of places do it, it is quite a cycle here. Keep on doing that, the money never stops.
Thank For The Facts Video 💝🥰💕😍
It's No-See-Em Green the color first appeared during construction of New Orleans Square Walt Disney would never tell a guest to go away or scram
The reason "Time to die!" was changed into "Belle is mine!" is to make it more personal for The Beast to attack, motivated by his love for Belle rather fighting for his life.
the dragon under the castle is not malificent.....it was an egg owned by merlin
This is true for any 'useless' knowledge-Disney or otherwise: It's useless until you need it be it trivia night or otherwise!
Ppl who play Kingdom Hearts have always known about the Yensid thing.
I did know the sorcerer's name was Yen Sid cuz of Kingdom Hearts.
Useful indeed 😁😁😁😁
Here's another one:
Disney owned Miramax Studios from 1993-2010. The first Miramax film to be greenlit under Disney's ownership: Pulp Fiction.
My husband and I were married at the Wedding Pavilion next to The Grand Floridian in 2008. We had our reception at The Grand Floridian and we did receive the “Just Married” pin, we received a year long park pass and we received his/hers Disney watches. As time has gone by, I’m sure they changed the gifts you receive from having a wedding there. They may also give different gifts based on the amount of money you spent. We spent a lot. We also stayed as guests in The Grand Floridian.
I used to work at the Magic Kingdom when I was 17, and still love Disney into my 40’s. Of course they are not very good to their employees and make you very aware they could replace you in a day with thousands of other people. It’s a damn shame they can’t be good to their employees as they are the ones who make everything happen.
Very nice video. I knew a lot of this information as you take a week long class when you are hired at Disney, but there are some things I was not aware of.
There is no such thing as a "useless" fact.
Here’s one: did you know that Mickey Mouse made his debut over 70 years before SpongeBob SquarePants made his in 1999?
Ariel is the first and only Disney princess (as of now) to be a mom
None of them are and why are they say number one I post to be 101
I did know most of these. Another fact is that the 1964 World's Fair benefited Disney. This is because it allowed Disney to explore the use of new technology for the parks.
Tiana is the one only princess who actually had a job.
Mulan was a soldier. Yes, she was dishonorably discharged, but you did say "had."
Elsa and later Anna were ruling Queens. That's technically a job. Likewise, Rapunzel was once Queen for a day and acting Queen as various points, while the live action version of Jasmine became the ruling Sultana.
MsMojo:Yen Sids name spelled backwards is Disney
Me:Okay I believe you
*X-BLADE!!*
Nice video for a nice day like today. Happy saturday Ms Mojo and i hope i see you soon for more. In the meantime, take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia.
What's surprising is how many of these I already knew.
If it's so useless why did you post this?
Why post this if we don’t need to know ?
Why post it if you know if it’s pointless?
that the whole point
I see what you did there putting in a 101 😂
Lion around jungles
My dad's name is Walter
😅😅 This reminds me of my extensive Disney Trivia as a teen. ❤😊
To go further on Number 52... the two finger point is also from Walt himself... He was a smoker and pointing with a lit cigarette was common... but due to the desire to never have kids smoke, the cigarettes were removed, but left Walt pointing with two fingers... This may be a scandal today... but in the early 20th century it was what it was... Look at all the smoking references in the early cartoons for proof.
I dont need to know? *scroll*
Never came to mind what animal Pete is yep makes sense to make him a cat since Micky a mouse and Micky an easier name to produce for the kids that why his wife thought of that idea
Also, Pluto isn't the only dog Pete has as a rival, considering his role on "Goof Troop."
@18.12 Grumpy Cat!!! RIP you beautiful creature ❤
Ok
102: Eeyore lost its "tale"!
I find it incredibly amusing that Pete is best known as a cat when he originally started out as a Bear. (And even more, that he predates not just Mickey but even Mickey's PREDISISOR.)
4:52
In Elementary we re-enacted Disney movies I got put as Yen Sid because my name is Sid
Did you say “useless”?! That’s my specialty!!
This is an amazing video!
Well, if we don’t need to know then, why are you sharing it?
why not
That is so rude you guys are giving great 😊 fact Useful not Useless with all of the Disney ones you guys do common
most of things you said are helpful, I don't know if they are all useless.
I needed to know all of these things
I kmew Lilo was also Samara
I was today years old when I learned that the sorcerer’s name is Yesnid.
My parents and I just went to the Disney Expo at the Franklin Institute today. It was great but at the gift shop I couldn’t think of a single thing there I wanted to get. My mom already beat me at getting our usual trip souvenir magnet for our fridge.

14:32 If Abba worked on The Lion King(1994) the songs would've been feeling like Abba songs. 📺🦓🦓🦓🐗🐗🐗🦒🦒🦒🦒🦛🦛🦛🦛🦛🦍🦍🦏🦏🦏🦏🦏🐦🦁🦁👑🎵🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎥🎥🎥🎥🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬
I knew 51 of these!
Funny that a 101 Dalmatians fact was saved for last yep that why Robin Williams wasn’t in Return of Jafar wonder why Can you feel the love tonight was almost cut? Gaston was the first male antagonist in a Disney princess film? that must have been new for the audience since there use to seeing a big strong handsome ( I guess 😂 ) man as a hero
In Japan, Disney and all cartoon characters who had 4 fingers had to add another, because 4 fingers were a symbol and stereotypically describes Yakuza, which was a taboo subject there.
Heck back in 2009 Electric Dragon did a video about all Disney animated studios back with the fact where not that good because he told that in 2001 that , the Empress new groove came out to that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. He didn’t even try to look at some of the facts on the live in Internet back in the day. Facts was Cinderella is is the only Disney princess that have birds, mice, a dog, a horse
How about “Cars” being the final installment between Disney and Pixar, before the split, of course that never happened.
Here's a useless Disney fact: Trippie Redd was born on the same day that Tarzan was released. That day was June 18th, 1999.
Useless is a matter or perception. In the wrong moment ANY fact is useless.
And what's up with the numbers?! Apparently someone added one more fact at the last minute - but someone (else? maybe the same someone?) forgot to update the title...
yeah I remember when I thought it was
The princess and the frog
that was the last Disney movie to be a full hand drawn animated movie before I knew that there was a Winnie the Pooh movie in 2011
Disney music is the best
yes.
Oh okay!
These are not useless facts. These are interesting facts. Enough said.
5:51 Why does bro sound like that???
Yen Sid: "Also, my name spelled backwards is-"
