I think from the limited view in the video that it was Bracken. Ferns grow from a common point at ground level, Bracken has a central stem and branches out from that.
@@Firstmanphotography time to buy a vehicle with internal space for printing in wet weather 😀. Then the one offs, signed in the field - be a good product
Outstanding! I'd like to see a remote shoot which includes a workflow consisting of image capture, edit and printing but in a much more portable and faster process. In other words, quality instant photography in a digital format.
I love them all, simply amazing images. What is great , is how you still explain your settings and the scene, many Pro’s seem to forget that . Super content love the channel.
Fantastic images Adam. Those conditions were epic. Love your woodland images. Very inspiring. This is my first Autumn since I started photography and I have been in the foggy Peak District woodlands today. Had an amazing day, but it’s definitely a challenge taking your time when you have no idea when the fog will burn off!
Holy Moly! I didn't think you could move those printers once they're set up! I've read testimonials from people who said they irreversibly ruined their pro1000's by moving them. 😮😮😮
Thanks mate. To be honest, in my old job I used to be very self-assured and confident I was doing the right thing. Now the total opposite is true, especially with woodland. Was very pleased with the results on this one though.
Stunning and stunning images. I would have even been happy being there without my camera, such was the beauty offered up. Looking forward to seeing how you go lugging that printer up a hill !
I almost passed over this video because the title didn’t seem to interest me! But, I watched because you never disappoint! I made the right decision! Awesome images throughout! Thanks for taking me along! PS… I preferred front lit picture!
Love your attitude when seeing the campers. Like you, I'm often contending with people wanting to enjoy the outdoors at the same time with me, in their own way. They apologize when they they are taking a family portrait and see me waiting my turn. I'll say something like, "No worries. We're all out here to enjoy nature". And I mean it.
Great to see the drive and enthusiasm back in your photography Adam, great images especially the ones at 9:10 and 9:16, really beautiful . Thanks for sharing and I’ll look forward to next Sunday 👏👏👏
A great watch as always with stunning photos. What a cracking idea printing in the field. A unique idea for your channel. How do you find a woodland area your allowed to walk round?
Hi Adam, another great video. I was at the same location ("SM") yesterday and the fog was very thick with no glowing sun like you had. I did however get a good minimalist pano of a line of silver birches with fog behind which actually lit the scene. This was inspired by what I have learnt from UA-camrs like yourself. Thanks for that and keep up the good work!!
A beautiful collection of images Adam and in terms of your question I loved the front lit version as the detail, textures and tonality all combined perfectly. Great ending to the video too with the print coming straight off the morning shoot and knowing the weight of that Pro 1000, you have my total respect for moving that into your car for the ending of the video.
Bracken is a kind of fern so you're right regardless! Back or front light? They're two very different images and no comparison or preference is needed, they're both great.
What a beautiful morning. Great images Adam. In answer to your question, I prefer the backlit misty images. They seem a bit more "magical" . Also, a mobile photo/printing service seems like something an entrepreneur may startup after watching this.
Awesome video! Your passion for woodland photography in the mist is so inspiring! I love the images you captured today. So beautiful! Keep the great work. And now, I’m off to view your panorama tutorial video!😊😎
Nice video with stunning conditions and beautiful photos. I especially like the panorama of the birch trees, would have been fun to see that one printed in the field 😉.
If you’re talking power (rather than ink)…..I had the printer and laptop running for about an hour or two drawing 65-95w. The battery does also charge from the 9v on the car and if I had the solar panel with me, in direct sun than produces around 75-85w. You could basically run it for most of the day, especially if you had a newer laptop that doesn’t require constant charging.
"Mali's tree" gets a thumbs up from me.. your vlogs have seriously elevated to another level.. I've watched this 3x times so far just today, and I'll be watching it again tomorrow.. I'm at least 3x of those 10,000+ views so far ;-) keep making magic happen, and some time, please do consider coming to visit Sydney .. ( cheers, @dez_blanchfield )
now as I also have the Canon pro1000, my jaw hit the floor when I saw that had stuffed it in the boot of your car !!!!! holy shit my wife said , finally someone more crazy than you David !
The "Mali's Tree" shot is superb and a worthy shot for the printer for sure.
Both shots, beautiful, so can enjoy them both equally. It's about the light and mist and seeing an image.
Adam your images are out of this world
Thank you very much. Definitely very pleased with this lot.
I always find your video's inspiring Adam, great work 😃📷
Happy to hear that! Thanks David.
What an incredibly beautiful morning in a stunning place. The golden ferns, the mist, the colour of the light. Brilliant.
LOVE the shoot-to-print start to finish. Love love love.
Printing out the back of the car - i mean come on, how great is that! Left wanting to see more adventures like that....
Thanks mate. really appreciate the encouragement.
I think from the limited view in the video that it was Bracken. Ferns grow from a common point at ground level, Bracken has a central stem and branches out from that.
Cheers Nigel.
And fair play that one off print in the field is a great creative idea. 👏 👏 (when it’s not raining!)
Ha yeah. That did cross my mind.

Front-lit image at 9:18 is gorgeous 🙂
Outstanding!

Here you go......ua-cam.com/video/MPh3-wYJDxY/v-deo.html
although admittedly it's questionable on the portability and speed front.
Backlit... very much enjoyed this vlog
Thanks so much Robin.

Thanks so much Malcolm, your comment means a lot.
Incredible photos, mate!!
Thanks so much.
You did yourself proud Adam, they all were fantastic photos and I preferred the back lit photo. Great Video, thanks.
Thanks Grahame 👍
Image at 13.36 is truly beautiful.

I’m normally decisive, but I cannot pick between the front and backlit images. They’re both truly magical.
Absolutely stunning work Adam. Couldn't have wished for better conditions mate 👍🙂
Hi Adam, both great images but the front lite is the one for me. Love your channel.
Beautiful images Adam, well done 👍
Beautiful conditions, you captured it brilliantly good work and great video, front light for me, thank you.

Well here I present actual visual evidence to prove otherwise.
@@Firstmanphotography Yeah I trust you!
Another great video mate, and what fantastic conditions! You really have the eye for woodland photography, which isn't an easy genre at all.

great video beautiful area... love the printer in the boot...epic

Amazing images from an amazing morning Adam. CrackingVLOG
Bracken is a 'type' of fern, they're part of the same family of plants.
Interesting, as always. I do prefer the front-lit image. The back-lit image is just a bit too diffuse for my tastes!
wow the orange was intense thanks for taking us fir a nice walk
Awesome!

Thanks. I'm generally terrible at writing titles.......i kinda rely on people watching regardless.

Hi (from GERMANY), Videp, Photos and Equipment fantastic!
Hey, thanks!
Great video Adam, I've always found woodland photography a challenge compositionally-wise, I just can't see the image from the trees.
Great to see the drive and enthusiasm back in your photography Adam, great images especially the ones at 9:10 and 9:16, really beautiful .

When someone buys that print will that be a car boot sale? Another great video 😊.
Ha ha.

I am in love!! I dream of conditions like this. Great video Adam, very inspiring!
Thanks Billy. Much appreciated
Beautiful images and another great video. Thank you Adam for taking us on this journey. I would go for the backlit image, more ethereal.
Great inspiring content Adam, thank you.

Awesome photography, I love it all buddy , Happy Weekend wishes from India 🇮🇳
Front light for me. But it don’t really matter, lovely images in a nice session 👍
Front light for me , I f it we’re me I’d crop out or darken the are to the left distracts from the main subject area
Hi, great video. May I ask you what was the consumption of your printer when you printed your photo. I’ve been thinking about this idea for a while.
If you’re talking power (rather than ink)…..I had the printer and laptop running for about an hour or two drawing 65-95w. The battery does also charge from the 9v on the car and if I had the solar panel with me, in direct sun than produces around 75-85w.

@@Firstmanphotography thanks for your reply. Exactly what I was asking.
I came to the comments section to find the fern Vs bracken answer.

ferns and bracken having moved to Portugal I had to look it up to find they were the same, yes I was confused
