I called Nissan dealership in Cambridge Ontario and they told me 2hrs labour plus parts. Thanks for saving me huge $$$. On my Altima 2.5, it's even easier access to the valve.
Thanks for watching and the comment! I would check the service schedule for your vehicle and go with that. For the most part manufacturers have that schedule down pretty good to keep the vehicles running as long as possible.
what problem are you having? i’m currently having a mass air flow sensor. i have done everything in my control to try and fix it but this is my last resort. will be replacing tomorrow. hopefully it works
No. I just fixed a sentra no crank no start. Everyone said starter. I started by changing the fusible link on the positive terminal and it started right up!
@@AGuyandHisProjects i know there’s a service bulletin about it if it was throwing a code P0101 but maybe just replacing it just to replace it is no big deal. Probably was just for that code that had to be done.
@@AGuyandHisProjects I checked and it was rattling well. So I did not change it. Maybe if I don't figure out the reason for the oil loss, I will just do it.

You are most welcome! Tha KS for watching:)
Hello sir, thanks for the video. I saw in another video that it is recommended to replace this pcv valve every 25k miles, is that correct?

Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for. New subscriber here.
You are welcome and glad to have you!
I've cleaned mine with alcohol or gasoline to free up the plunger inside. Is that okay, or replacement better?
If cleaning it that way works then I don't see why you'd need to replace it
GOOD REVIEW & GOOD CAR.
Thanks! And yep, very dependable never any real issues
Same process for 15' sentra ?
Valve is on left side of engine bay as in this video ?
I believe so yes.
Should this be torqued on install?
The safe answer is if you can find an accurate Torque spec then yes. Otherwise just get it tight enough but not over tight lol
I'm really hoping this is the issue I'm having with my car. I'll be able to use this video to fix it. 🙏
Always nice when the problem is an easy fix lol

@@TheAmuzement my car was burning though oil but after I replaced that valve seems the issue is fixed!
@@knockknock_itsthefbi3971 Good stuff, hoping it works out for me, just swapped mine out
will this fix cranking issues?/starting problem?
I'm no mechanic so can't answer that, hopefully somebody will be able to chime in

Great video
Thanks!
Thought new ones were supposed to be black not orange. Then you have to reprogram the ECM. 🤷♂️
I don't know anything about any of that. Can't imagine any programming needed that is related to the PCV

Thanks for coming back! They are cheap and easy to replace if it comes up later in life...if you already have the part may as well put it in!
call this be done without the tools
Tools will sure make it easier!
