Even all the metal care you do to a car you have to garage it, 6 year's sitting out side even the freshest car paint will look like it's been sitting for year's weather will reclaim it back to the earth. That's how I felt with every classic I ever own I was just the care taker until the next person that likes the car/truck as much as me can care for it. I've seen really nice car's ended up in the wrecking yard. Pointing it out yup that was a nice low rider cruising the volavard on weekends and got in a wreck winded up in the yard. Most old car's are sold before they make it in the junk yard these day's. The wrecking yard people know what the parts are worth. All the 80s on back truck's are striped just a shell of it will be sitting in the wrecking yard.
Love your shop! I retired couple years ago getting my broken body fixed, sellin off extra stuff so when i croak it will only take a year to clean my stuff lol. Wish you well and follow your dreams. I have too much into my shop i built it and did everything myself i can't leave it and too hot for me in summer elsewhere im in nh. I can't believe how much you get done in a day n how clean your shop is, (dust) love your how to's
Mon do you have thing's to keep you busy. Yeah I'm from California and it's been a long winter here. Thanks Larry for showing your museum, like how your collection is out for show. I couldn't get past the front by looking at your collection of old thing's. I can't even imagine the Chicago COLD weather. I think that's why I never left California because of the weather. I don't like it when it's to HOT or to COLD. Then again that's how all you famous artist get a lot done in your shop's it's to COLD to go out. Here in California bay area there is something always going on every weekend winter or summer. Shows, concerts, San Francisco they have something going on every weekend. San Jose, Oakland, Richmond, Sacrimento, Stockton, all the smaller town's have there festivities. So yeah you could be cruisin all over, which I do see classic car's on the rode.
Very cool! That's the second 36 with a Lasalle grill I've seen the last couple months. The others a cabriolet that(s) a killer mod. I happen to have a 40 Lasalle series 5227c
