Glad you mention watch your digits I had took my gaurd off. Then I put it back on but cut it down smaller to get more blade and can see my cuts better. Mainly to gaurd my hand from slipping.
Its good to see people still build and fab with minimal tools. no fancy Pullman machines or planishing machines just a welder some hammers and a grinder
I have a question..... do you plan on chroming any part of the bumper and grill? I'm leaning a lot from your videos so when I'm ready I can apply your skills to my own merc. Keep them coming and as always make sure you're having a blast doing what you love.
Like watchin Picasso doing a painting ... cool cool ... I watch you guys welding without a mask ... I was told early on that the ultra-voilet rays can penetrate the eyelids ... just a thought ... also you might want to get a mic ... kinda hard to hear your comentary sometimes ... don't wanna miss a thing ... keep the cool videos commin ...

Started trimming my guards too. Best of both worlds. Can see… but also block some potential flying problems

Thanks for the info… so far I’m not blind thank goodness, and I did order a microphone. Audio should improve 👍🏼👍🏼
