@J Coltrane SCREW those made up awards created by a bunch of DEVILS! He didn't need to win that pointless statue to validate his PHENOMENAL performance!
When he’s talking to that elderly woman you can see how tired he looks. The subtle things to me are what define greatness and just with that slight motion in his look you can feel what Malcolm felt at that moment. I thank god for Spike Lee and Denzel, this movie epitomizes black excellence
The thing about it, it was not the white man who killed him, it was those who was suppose to be working for the good of black people, they were the ones who killed the man the same people Ali worshiped and was a part of.
I'm almost ashamed to admit that I thought Denzel was kinda overrated. I was overwhelmed and shook when I saw what the real Malcolm actually experienced. Denzel brought Malcolm from the dead and painted the perfect picture of Malcolm's growth, turmoil and braveness all the way to his end. I'm overwhelmed with tears.
Sorry, sister, but Denzel is a national treasure. One of our finest actors and this is my favorite of his performances. I know he doesn't do the work because he wants one, but oh Goddess Above, why no Oscar for this?
I knew they knew more details back then so they could have told us more...still tbh, I'm proud of how everyone's doing. They attacked us (everyday people of all races and religions) from all angles and we really fought back. Alhamdolillah for the beauty of humanity. As Brother Malcolm mentioned, all praise is due to God for any good we do. The mistakes were our own.
Seeing this video, the lyrics describe exactly what he must have been feeling during his last days.....with the FBI, the nation and the police after him. It freakin makes me tear up watching this everytime, but he is in heaven... that's where I find solace... Malcolm was beyond a true hero...
RIP Brother Malcolm. Words can't express what you mean to me, to this very day. The struggle continues. I carry on my life carrying your teachings in my heart.
To think what Malcolm's mother Louise, went through. Her husband murdered by white supremacist thugs and then the insurance company calls it a suicide so they don't have to pay her. Her family is broken up by the state and she spends the rest of her life in a mental institution in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
People don't know that Malcolm X had Two major realities he discovered through out his journey in life and he felt responsible to deliver these Two main messages and communicate to everyone including African American 1- 1st reality is the true Message of Islam and he wanted to deliver this message as he learned when he traveled to Mecca ,which was an eye opener and a shock and a huge steppingstone in his life, but unfortunately his life was cut short . 2ND was confronting injustice and the oppressors who violate the civil rights ,human rights of African American . Also at the same time giving therapy to the oppressed , African American , by teaching them the knowledge of themselves and the value Islam gives as humans and creation of God.

Sam Cooke Song "A Change is Gonna Come" was also played in the Movie Malcolm X by Spike Lee. The Starred Role Actor is Denzel Washington. To make a change, a loud Riot had to happen for a change to be made as now the old school way to make laws was to kill the creator of the law. The Torments of Malcolm X was hidden in Silence till this Loud Riot was heard of in the Public Eye. This is movie of Malcolm X Biography is long & good to watch. RIP Malcolm X🛌💐🌈❤️🤗👍

It must have been very hard to fill those shoes job well done. May haji shahbazz rest in peace and be granted so much more for what he tried to achieve.

Also Betty was pregnant with Fraternal Twin Girls Malik and Malikah that wouldn't know their daddy and Bobby Kennedy's Daughter rory wouldn't know her father and on her wedding day her Cousin John Jr., dies. When Dr. King found out about Malcolm's death he knew they would come for him too.
clearly one of my best movies i ve seen it 2 or 3 times !! denzel and spike lee did an amazing job ! and i heard spike lee saying that he asked money from black celebrities in music and cinema to do his movie
How appropriate that this song by Sam Cooke is the song choice for this scene... Both Sam Cooke and Malcolm X knew there was a threat on their lives and courageously kept going fearlessly.
@@jonnybgood1105 Sometimes we don't see things how they are but how we perceive them to be. Malcom was militant but even sinners can be better than "saints". As much as we paint him to be Martin was no saint.
