Omg this is so cute. I cant wait to make one or two. I m going to add some eyes on mine, just to make it look like it has the glasses on . Lol thank you so much for your tutorial, love it. Great idea for gifts .
Fabulous tutorial, not sure what all the comments are about saying you can’t follow it, it was perfectly easy to follow, I plan on making two of these for the in-laws for Christmas presents
This is such a cute idea and I love it! Thank you for sharing ☺️ I am thinking for mine that I will try closing the head the same way beanies are closed. I have a hard time decreasing and my projects end up with big holes. Thanks again!!
I’m currently away on holiday so I don’t have the measurements to hand but when I get back I’ll pop up the details on my website for you and leave the link in the description 😊

Hi...loved your tutorial... thanks dear...l am planning to make it for my husband...can you please give the hook size you have used...so that I get the right size of the product..😊
@@olivia9564 okie doke so if you’ve increased by two more rows then you decrease by two more rows. What we your last increase row count? Increase and then how many stitches did you do after? You’ll do the same with the decrease so if you did increase, then 8 single crochets then your lol do decrease and 8 single crochets around.
Hi, i really don’t understand the first part of the video 😅 do you increase in every single stitch for 10 rows straight? Mine doesn’t look like a bowl shape like yours? Mine just has a lot of folds
So you’ll do 6 sc, then increase in every st for round two. Then the next row will be Inc, then 1 sc and repeat that all the way around. The next row will be Inc, then 1 sc in the next two sts, and repeat the Inc, 2 sc all the way around. You’ll repeat that increase and then 3, Inc and then 4 until you get to row 10. I have the written pattern available if you need it 😊
Hii, so for this project im using fluffy yarn and a 5 mm hook, and im doubting if the diameter is too big, its 14cm(5.5 inch i think), do you think the end result will be too big? im making a xmas present and i want it to be perfect(also do you think it'll be pretty if its made with fluffy yarn?)😀
Hey! That sounds amazing! I’d love to see what it looks like when it’s finished! Please tag me on your socials! I think it should be fine with it being 5.5 inches. As long as you’re making it for an adult. Then you can adjust the stuffing to how big you want it to be 😊 good luck! I can’t wait to see it! 🥰
Not sure after you add or increase one are they all single crochets around so then in that row you'd have 13 stitches? Beginner crocheter so not sure....row 3 then would have ? row 4?
Hi! So you’ll be repeating the increase. Row 2 you’ll be increasing in every stitch. Then row 3 you’ll be increasing in the first stitch then 1 stitch in the next, then increasing in the next stitch and 1 stitch in the next. Does that make sense? I have the written pattern which might make it easier to follow along with on my Etsy 🥰
@@Perxonn yea, round 3 you would increase in the first stitch, then 1 single crochet in the next, then keep repeating that until you get round to the beginning. Then the next row would be increase in the first, 1 single crochet in the next and then 1 single crochet in the next, then repeat that around. Does that make sense? 😊
How large is the hexagon supposed to be BEFORE rows 11-20, i increased my hook size to 6mm. And it is bigger, but I am still not sure 😅 i need to make 2 for christmas presents
I’m sorry I’m away on holiday atm so don’t have measurements to hand. Best thing to do is measure the glasses you’ll be using it for and make the increases to a cm smaller than them. Then add the ears and the glasses should for nicely 😊
Ok i am on row 12.. and mine looks tiny. If i force it flat it sits about 4.25 inches in diameter. I am using a 5mm hook and a medium 4 weight yarn *i couldn't order the specific one in the video but i made sure I had the same weight.. please please please tell me this will work out 😅 i am worried
It might be that your tension is a lot tighter but once you stuff it, it should be bigger. Trust the process and if you finish it and it’s too small then try it again with a larger hook x
@MumsyMakesCrochet what size should I use? I also wonder if I should get a thicker yarn? Maybe a 5? Idk i should note I *think* the yarn i did use is worsted. Caron One Pound in the color succulent. It has stayed around 4 inches. Super cute but definitely not big enough for my father's glasses lol. Good practice tho!

Hi I’m somewhat new to crocheting and I want to make sure I get this right! I’m on the first step of increasing every row until row 10 and I wanted to know exactly what increasing on every row meant? I know from row 1-2 you increase by doing 2 stitches in every 1 stitch before, do I follow this same pattern? Because math would say I’m doubling each row and by row 10 that’s a lot more than 60 stitched which is what you said we should have by then.
