- "Tell Her No" is a hit single written by Rod Argent and included by English rock band The Zombies on their eponymous debut album The Zombies in 1965. It peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States in March 1965 and was one of three big American hits by The Zombies (the others being "She's Not There", in 1964, and "Time of the Season", in 1969). "Tell Her No" was only a minor hit for The Zombies in their native Britain, where it peaked at No. 42 on the UK Singles Chart in February 1965.
In 1983, Juice Newton scored a Billboard Top 40 hit in the United States with her version of the song.

December, 1964 was a great time! I had just finished boot camp and was home for Christmas. The Zombies were part of the "British Invasion" that brought so much energy and new life to pop music here in the US.
December was a great time for me, I wasn’t born jet! And the Zombies arrived!
This song is soo classy... A timeless classic!
they wrote this at 17 yrs old.
The Zombies were a great band!! "Time of the Season" is one of their great songs too.
Actually, they are still around.
I have always LOVED this song! Thanks for reviewing it. 👍🏾
You are making me cry by bringing back these old songs and groups from way way back when. I bought this single on vinyl record back in 1964 and played it on my record player over and over and over with my friends as we sang with the record. TELL HER NO NO NO NO. The guy singing the song broke my heart too just listening to him.
One of my favorite British Invasion songs.
Love those smooth jazzy chords those guys played!
Other good songs by them are "She's Not There" and "Time of the Season."
Unfortunately, the 2 u mentioned are it. I dig his voice. Not sure if he branched
out on his own. Another great 60s tune. I was very fortunate growing up then
Timeless music.
Also "Gotta Get A Hold of Myself," "I Love You," and "What More Can I Do"
This is a classic! I know it because I had a teenage sister and was exposed to all music of that time, but listening to it now, I can see how polished yet gritty it was.
I’m 74, I grew up with the pinnacle of popular music. Eat your hearts out children. ;-)
The singer is Colin Blunstone.
That is one of the best songs by anybody ever.
When I read this I thought I didn't know it but... I do. Been forever! I was 3 when it came out.
Happy Thursday beautiful queen! Amazing reaction to the Zombies! Classic 60s jam
I was a young kid but I had a crush on these guys..all of the pop wow
Tysheen? ... I love your class , your honesty ... your reaction was super ... 🌟🤩
Great reaction! The Zombies are awesome and this is my fave song by them. Have you heard the group The Association? (Never my love)
So many great Zombie songs.
It’s a classic.. thanks for putting it out there.
The No, No, No part was before I even started schooling. Rira Chow and Sakra from Singapore incorpotune this kind tune style in the early 60s.
They were a part of the British Invasion of that time but I believe their music was part of the Merseybeat scene like Gary & The Pacemakers. Check out Time Of The Season, and She's Not There by The Zombies. That guitar riff in Tell Her No is awesome sauce.
Hi ty great to see you back miss you thank you for a great reaction
I miss you too James. Thanks
The BEST POP SONG EVER!!!🤗
A good oldie.
Great song selection. 🕶👍🏼
Hey Tysheen, great band! I can't really add anything to what others have posted. Another good band with a similar sound to me is The Strawberry Alarm Clock and their song "Incense And Peppermints". You changed your hair again...looks good that way :) Take care, Gary
You reacted to "She's Not There," by the Zombies about 3 months ago.
Thanks Woody.
So far ahead of their time...not only that voice, but the song's, arrangement & the performances.
Please check out their fantastic,
☆ "Care of Cell 44" Thanks❗
The T-Connection is a band from the Bahamas, they did a song called " Heaven in your eyes" react to that please. Thanks.
Born in '64 .
If you liked this you should react to the Buckinghams -- Hey Baby,; Don't You Care; Kind of a Drag; Susan.
This sound epitomized the Beatles, could of been written by Lennon McCartney
Colin has chops
Please check out Louie Louie by the Kingsman from the same time period..as Zombies
"...just remember she said that to me..." I am just sayin'
How about some sub titles of my your castigation regarding this band, the Zombies require no sub titles and the music is clear And honest, so, so should their talents be commented by someone that is clearly not from not from their era
Just sayin
Sotaque Francês cantando em inglês.
Thanks. OK but just OK. "Time of the Season." is a lot better. Isn't this about the time The Byrd's recorded Dylan's "Mr Tambourine Man"? Now that was a moment in music history.
I say NO to this....
