    Thanks to you Henry, you encouraged me to take the leap and get this model. Im coming from an Oster brand blender. The difference is night and day. With the Oster I was chewing my smoothies. Thanks to the Vitamix I now know what a silky smooth blended drink is. Today is day two of ownership and Im so mentally over whelmed with all the recipes and possibilities that this machine can create. I suppose with how long I've heard other people's Vitamixes lasting, I have a life time to try each recipe. For anyone on the fence about the Ascent series, GO FOR IT! This Vitamix line is super sexy on any counter top. 👌😀

    I am now the proud owner of an A3500. I originally purchased the A2500 and after a few days it developed an electrical fault so I returned it to Amazon and got a refund. When I first got it, I had a twinge of regret that I hadn’t invested a bit more and got the top of the range one. I went ahead and ordered it from Vitamix UK and it was here in a couple of days - I couldn’t believe how fast it came! I absolutely love it and am so glad I’ve got the A3500 after all.
    I’m loving your videos, Henry! There’s nothing like a good dose of enthusiasm to start anyone’s day! I’ve never made a smoothie bowl and am keen to try it. I make a lot of soup and although my old (other make) high speed blender which broke down did make lovely smooth soups I think this is going to be a lot better. This machine just shouts quality. I thought my original blender was pretty good but the Vitamix leaves it in the shade.

    Hello. Excellent presentation. Is there a benefit of setting the timer and speed instead of using the smoothie preset ?

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, absolutely. The smoothie preset is simply a preset timer. Presets have no idea what you're actually blending so they are not catered to a specific recipe. So for example if you created your own smoothie recipe that took only 25 seconds to blend then the smoothie preset at 40 seconds would over-blend your smoothie. Setting your own time is beneficial as you can set it for 25 seconds each time and forget it.

    Have the "Fire Engine" Red 3500 I ordered thru VM.If I need any more containers and other parts will order thru you.Funky thing--the Ascent jars will fit the "Quiet One" machine and work!!You have to take the sound hood off the Quiet One for the 64 oz jar to fit.The 48 Oz fits with the hood on.BUT-the Quiet One "gull wing" "Advance" jars won't fit the Ascent-and the Advance jars don't have the chip for the Ascent either.Just fun fact.The Ascent and Quiet One get frequent use with me-both a favorite Vita-Mixers!The Ascent clear "hat" reminds me of the clamp transparent lids for the older VM blenders-Have some in my collection that used the Forward-Reverse switches.Those are fun to use,too!The all SS "monoliths" keep my eyes open at yard sales and thrift stores for those.

  • @jorgeisme

    Hi Henry.
    5 years down the road is the a3500 still going strong more especially the touch controls? I really want to buy the a3500 but worried that the touch controls may not last for over 10 years. I've read testimonies of people who claim to have had their machines for like 20 years and I don't know if the a3500 will be able to last that long with the non-manual controls. So I am torn between buying the a3500 versus the v1200. You honest response will be of great help.

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry  2 роки тому

      Hi George! I have been demonstrating the A3500 on many of my videos. Not once have the touch controls failed me. Also the fact that Vitamix gives a 10 year warranty on the Ascent machines (brand new) (5 years warranty on reconditioned models) shows they stand behind their product. If the A3500 wasn't reliable for long-term ownership Vitamix would never include a 10 year warranty.

    When on cleaning mode did your vitamin rock around a little bit? I was scared it might jump off the base. Also when it was done cleaning there was some leaking on the bottom of the pitcher but then again I might have put too much soap and as it was rocking around that could have caused it.

      The Vitamix actually heats the soup by way of friction from the spinning blades. They are designed in a way that makes this happen. It takes about 5 minutes from cold liquid. I tend to use hot liquid so the soup is created quicker.

    Henry, I really need you to help me! I know you're not replying very often and you might be busy, but I literally asked even Vitamix about an advice and they didn't reply. I kept watching reviews and reading what people said, and it's the same, nothing that enlightened me enough to take a decision. I saved up enough money for a Vitamix and honestly the price isn't an issue, but I just can't decide on the best. I saw the 780 is the most expensive and cause I wanna spoil myself wanted to get that one, but that doesn't mean it's the best necessarily. I'm still thinking what to choose between 780, 750 heritage copper (I like the design) or the 3500 (it's the newest but cheaper than 780 weirdly Enough). They're all kinda new and I guess some of the best, but which one is really the most amazing? Pleaseeeeee give me an advice! I'd be forever grateful!

      @onigutza 7 років тому +4

      Hi :) I recommend you get the newest model, which is the A3500. I struggled so much to get a straight recommendation like this, everybody was just telling me to get what I think it suits me the most (like I knew), and everything was so vague. The truth is they are all good and blend the same, but the other features make a slight difference. I'm just happy with this one, it looks nice, blends nice, it's new... On the other side the Copper 750 looks so pretty, and I'm sure you'll have the same blending results. And the prices are similar. I just went with what was the newest :) it's kinda hard to decide, I know.

    I have this one without the preset option tabs

    I would just chuck in all the ingredients, no need to place them all neatly

    HOW CAN I GET PRESET LIKE ACTIONS, WITH A A3300?

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry  6 років тому

      The only way is to buy the Vitamix Perfect Blend Scale. It wirelessly connects to the A3300. You control the A3300 from the Perfect Blend Sale app and it works like having presets. It's $99.00.

      You dont need the scale.
      You just need to download the App for IOS or Android. You want version 1.4 or newer.
      The App gives you 19 Presets

    Bowl/Container size looks too big. Wish Vitamix made a 56 oz.

      marianne8ate Glass jars wouldn't work with blenders as powerful as a Vitamix.
