Look at amazing 70's and 80's music and just look at those artists. They would not be given the time of day today because they don't have the hip Hop look. Ambrosia, Player, Earth Wind and Fire, Kansas, Boston,Tears for Fears, Toto...etc would be considered "too nerdy" and would not be given a chance. And rock needs to evolve from the "I hate life" thing back to let's have some fun.
