It's just that most kids are clueless about how light affect rendering and want to have a "got ya lying ahh" moment yet they don't realize that even without cam filters she technically still alter her apparence through make-up anyway and so does the vast majority of people.

Idk, didn't you see the reaction to her video with no makeup? People are judgemental animals, that's just how they are, you can try to be nice and understanding of others situations and try not to judge based off of appearances, but it's ingrained in all humans to judge off of looks to a certain extent and that is beyond our control. Most girls don’t look like they do on social media lol. Almost every single female, (including myself) uses the mild soft blur at the very least, it just looks a bit nicer without changing your face shape like some filters do imo. Sometimes I use an eyelash filter for pictures because my eyes look super small since I don’t use much eye makeup. She uses a lot of different filters though, but I honestly can’t blame her lol. Less makeup to do & she’s in front of a huge audience 😆 She isnt scuffed & is still really pretty irl but no girls skin is actually that smooth and flawless. Makeup doesn’t hide pores lol. Filters like that would make a MUCH bigger difference on a barefaced man, than a female with makeup on.

It’s not a filter but a skin blurring effect. It’s similar in concept but the skin blurrer is to smooth out edges and pores because dslrs are super 4K. Pretty commonly used on UA-camr set ups. Lights also soften skin too.
That and color correction I believe. It‘s more like a style/vibe choice than a „beauty“ filter. Like uploaded videos are almost always color corrected according to the style the creator likes

She probably didn’t feel like wearing a full face of makeup. It’s a slight filter with saturation a bit higher and has a bit of skin blur. I don’t think X realizes it’s not too different from how he looks irl, his skin is rougher and his lips aren’t as red😂 There are plenty of times Poki shows up on others streams and doesn’t look so noticeably different that people call it out. If it was extreme, yeah, I’d say that’s odd, but with a slight one that I think most ladies use on twitch since makeup everyday is bad for the skin.
