When I was coming back to Calgary from Quebec, our flight got delayed by like 8 hours and they eventually just cancelled it, and we rebooked another flight for the next morning. Thankfully we were lucky enough to have family in the city so we slept at their house before heading out for our new flight. We’d been awake for about 26 hours at that point hahaha
oh my goodness that is the worst but also good that you had family in town!
Delays really suck, the last time I traveled I had so many delays on the way home from Japan that I ended up at LAX a whole 24 hours later than my scheduled time

i solo travelled twice last year when i was at 13 y.o , i was almost in the wrong flight but gladly i can get to my destination just in time and right hahah, the struggle is real 🤣
