To all the people who have there first flight coming up read this!
To start, turbulence may seem scary but there is so much pressure all around you so you would free fall just due to turbulence! Also planes are the provenly the most safe way of transportation. You should be excited to fly it’s very fun! You do go very high but you shouldn’t be scared because like I said you will.not.crash! You do go very fast at take off and landing but personally I love it. Some tips, chew gum if your ears pop, listen to the instructions at the beginning as a first time flyer,always listen to flight attendants,get to your gate on time! Don’t get the middle seat trust me.This is coming from a person who has flyed every year from before they were 6 months old so trust me on this, hope this helped😊
I love taking off now! The feeling is so smooth and peaceful ; especially early morning flights 😌. I actually found sucking on chocolate covered raisins (a decent amount at a time ) did great for me . I had no ear popping , just a light clog feeling for a split second . I’ll be taking my mom on her first flight at 43! Stay tuned ☺️
Congratulations on your 1st flight ✈️ I have been flying sine I was 12 and I still remember how afraid I was. At 47 I have been many places around the world. Keep traveling. The world is a beautiful place, and so are the people.keep moving forward!🙏

@@Tatiaunna1 i to am about to take my first flight ever. Looking back was you making yourself nervous for no reason was it as bad as you thought? Because I’m nervous about it.
@@joshparker7214 hey so for me I felt a mix of excitement, anxious, with a PINCH of nervousness. When we were going up the feeling was so surreal I was in excited surreal shock (if that makes sense) lol . It was a really cool experience. It’s not bad at all especially if you’re someone that likes heights or roller coasters . You literally glide up so it’s not super fast feeling . Once you’re leveled it’s pretty smooth.
As a retired commercial airline pilot I so enjoy watching peoples reactions to their first time that they experience flying. To quote Leonardo Da Vinci
"When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward. For there you have been, and there you will always long to return"
I hope you will enjoy lots of travelling.
Just one small piece of advice please dont show your boarding pass in your future videos the bar codes on them can contain lots of personal information that could be retrieved.
I don't want to spoil your vlog. Please don't worry just bear in mind for the future.

And if you have pressure in your ears, when you land all you gotta do is close your mouth and squeeze your nose and blow out of your nose.. when u blow out of your nose remember to pinch your nose shut at the same time once you do that, it will release the pressure in your ears instantly and you’ll be good to go chewing gum doesn’t release the pressure it just blocks the feeling somewhat when you’re flying, but the thing is is eventually you have to let that pressure out of your ears and the only way to let it out of your ears is to like I said close your mouth, pinch your nose and blow out of your nose all at the same time
I flew for the first time last year. You are brave for sitting by the window!! I was so nervous, then the flight attendant came around I ordered wine. You did really good!!!
Oh I only prefer to sit by the window I needs to see! Lol ! I’m a little claustrophobic so being in the middle I probably would’ve felt COMPLETELY out of control (I mean I still was but you get it lol)
I will be leaving for Louisiana next week and as the days are creeping up I seem to get more nervous. This will be my first time flying. But I just want to thank you because you have calmed my nerves tremendously and now I’m more excited then nervous to fly✌🏼🙏
Aww this has me in tears! I fly often and still I’m afraid.I take a small dose Xanax to chill.but while I’m up there scared because I have no control I am humbled and feel so close to the heavens.it is beautiful!!! You did so phenomenally!! I’m proud of you!! I was sooo happy watching!tears of joy 💗

Thank you for doing this video. My first ever flight is coming up soon. Scared of the overall feeling but i think my fears are probably irrational and im just too much in my head. Everyone has told me theres nothing to it so this video just more confirmation that im making myself crazy! Thank you again!
I'm glad you enjoyed your first flight. I've probably flown three or four hundred times over the past 40 years and it never gets old. I love it.

I LOL'd when you said 'OMG this is amazing' on the takeoff, so cute! I remember that same feeling at 5 years old....more than 800 flights later still loving it! Next time sit just a couple rows behind the wing - you can see more of the view below and watch the wing controls work their magic.

Awww thank you for sharing my momma is in Delaware I'm in Florida and she was dx with a brain tumor on Father's day this year. She's had surgery my sister took her first ever flight already and is there and I feel so lost not being there to help with her care. We won't have much more time with her I'm building my courage watching others videos. Thank you for sharing such a personal experience. Truly. You're helping so many others. I will add my Dr did give me a script of Ativan bc I have had panic attacks since I was 17. Horrible PTSD. BAD. so I can't help that but, the medication should help me not panic she said take it an hour before my flight to an hour and a half. So it reaches full effect by time I board. 😂 Someone will have to carry me 😂😂😂😂
Awww it’s honestly such a beautiful and surreal experience! I prayed for safe travels , no harm or danger come towards anyone of us on this plane , prayed for the pilot , guide their hands and eyes . Pray that this plane is covered and protected by the blood of Jesus . Once I prayed I LITERALLY had peace and was fine . I believe God would be holding that plane and answer my prayers . When it had some turbulence I had a QUICK moment of the jitters but then I remembered what I prayed for and watching everyone else calm made me calm and I went back to sleep lol . You got this 💕 Flight attendants are also soooo kind and helpful 💕
I’m glad you got the window seat. My first time flying was a couple weeks ago and I had the window seat and looking out at the sky and landscape so was peaceful. I think everyone who is flying for the first time should experience the window seat
It’s a must for sure! Gotta get that full experience. It was beautiful! My mom is 42 and she’ll be flying for the first time to Vegas this year!

@@Tatiaunna1 thats great!! I've taken my children on planes, trains and next week they will be on a cruise. I can't wait to see how they react my 8 year old told me once, " Momma I never thought I'd be this close to heaven" I was like dang she gets it!

You got this! 💕 If you like roller coasters you’ll enjoy the beginning (take off) . Once you’re leveled in the air , piece of cake . If you have a window seat I highly recommend filming the clouds and whatever you see . It’s so beautiful.

You did waaaay better than me. My first flight was abt 5 years ago. I had an aisle seat, but hunni I was paralyzed with fear... I was barely breathing and didn't move. Whatever position I sat down in was how I stayed the entire time... But I will definitely fly again tho... which my 2nd time flying will be sometime this year.
I enjoyed it . It was definitely different. After I’d prayed I was fine . I will say I’m not a fan of going over water for too long lol!

@@amberella2226 it was not as I thought! i definitely psyched myself up more than I needed to only thing I highly recommend having him with you, so that your ears don’t pop, but other than that an amazing experience, and I flew with spirit .i’ve since then been on 4 airplanes!

I haven't been on a plane since I was 14. I think it has changed since 911 because I was on one 4 months before it happened. I will be flying to Orlando in a couple of weeks, so I can't wait!!

It won’t feel like you’re titling really . Literally think of when your going high up on a roller coaster . It’s a smooth process . It’s just going to feel like omg NO GRAVITY ! It’s a surreal and amazing feeling . Next time you’ll be loving the take off it’s so peaceful ♥️

@@Tatiaunna1 yea feeling yourself in the air so relaxing, the takeoff is fun it feels like a rollercoaster to me, it’s just your stomach is trying to adjust to you ascending up other than that stomach feeling everything was great.

Planes are safer than cars trustttttt. As a pilot we under go years of training so you will be safe. I’m currently a student pilot so I have a little ways to go but I love it.

Omg!! What a first time flight !! Honestly I feel a lot more confident in flying quite a distance BECAUSE I flew 5 1/2 hours across the country and BACK! I flew to ATL after this and Tennessee from FL and it was LITERALLY 50 minutes to ATL and 1 Hr from ATL to Tennessee! It’s amazing! Pray , trust God , and relax ! Take pics and videos! I have so many !!

Going to New York for Christmas holidays on December 1,2,3,4 and 5th I am trying to keep calm and I haven’t even gotten on the plane yet I’m scared as all get out.
Mama next time bring some wipes and wipe down your seat wipe down your window that wall that you lay your head on and most importantly, do not forget to wipe your tray and your screens planes are full of germs like a lot of germs. Another thing never wear things like shorts always wear sweats or something like that, I don’t think people understand how dirty planes actually really are

I flew for the 1st time in 2015 or 16. It was amazing being above the clouds. I didn't like the turbulence and landing when the plane wheels hit the ground.
I will agree on that turbulence. The first time it was light so I wasn’t sure if that’s what “turbulence “ was . After that we hit about 2 more times but I was telling myself this is normal and you’re fine . I went back to sleep . Far as landing! I liked it! I’m a roller coaster head lol
@TATIAUNNA I'm glad you were able to sleep. I'm too nosey for that, meaning I got to know what is happening with the plane the whole time I am on it.🤣🤣🤣
I will definitely fly more, though. I wanted a friend or family member to fly with me, but they couldn't. We had Jesus on board, which is the best flying partner we can have. How long was your flight?
The 1st one is always nerve wrecking , now as before the flight attendants can even do they safety thing I be sleep , I always miss the snacks

Niiice!!! Honestly this flight was 5 1/2 hours . I’m way more confident flying longer distances BECAUSE my first flight was lengthy. After your flight you’re going to be flying all the time especially those quick flights !

@@mr.quacadile683 it was really good!! i wasn’t nervous or anything. take off was really fun & the best part. it really just feels like your a passenger in a long limousine. there was some turbulence on the flight back home & it didn’t feel that bad, my stomach dropped a little like it would on a rollercoaster but not as drastic & landing is amazing as well. it’s like a massage. the views was ofc beautiful! ☺️
