Great choice with the 512s we bought ours from Karl, I tend to set the top and bottom trimmers back to -95 on the textured board to avoid over scraping and still get a good finish

I’m interested Phillip, is that a common idea that it often takes 3 tries to get something right? Like ‘third time lucky’?
@@Alastair_Freebird Hi Alastair, the theory is about making a start instead of delaying because of aiming for perfection. If 1st best is perfection, it’s an impossible target anyway and, therefore, futile as an aim. Second best can’t be achieved until you make a start due to the law of unforeseen consequences. So the theory is that as soon as the project is good enough, make a start, learn what you hadn’t thought about through the doing and don’t prevaricate so much that you never get out of the blocks.
