I got some random one off of Amazon with a random brand, it works at 1200P and 120-140 hz and it was 90 bucks. Very happy with this review mainly because they have so much similarities. Thanks!!
Go into the game properties in the steam menu and switch game resolution to native. Then you can set the resolution in game to whatever the display you’re using is.
I noticed you got it to run 1440p at 120hz on your xbox but did you also have “auto low latency mode” and “variable refresh rate (VRR)” enabled in the “video modes” tab? VRR is pretty important to me. The monitor itself has to have Freesync for this to work as well. Does it have freesync?
Have you tried connecting a smartphone? I bought one for my mother specifically for this possibility and I can't figure out how to make it work. The phone charges but does not recognize it as a video output
I just got it so I can play PS5 while the kids sre watching the TV in the living room. Don't have room for a full size TV in my bedroom. Figured they can also use this in the car on trips.
To clarify, the screen isn’t displaying anything or you can’t access the settings? The monitors buttons will help with some settings but some can be configured through the device (depending on what you’re using)
Hi im trying my luck. I just bought this with my xbox series x but it doesnt detect my series x. Just say signal not found. Have you used the series x and have any tips?
I did try with my series x and had no issues. Maybe try poking around in the video settings in your Xbox and see if that does anything. You could also cycle through the monitor settings but in the end it should work as any normal monitor would.
@hartomethod thanks for the reply. I cant even press the settings of the monitor it just says no signal found. Not sure if you could recommend another portable monitor you have tried?
Great review! Just a question. Is Freesync working correctly with the Steam Deck? I can't find any review about it and supposedly all of these Chinese monitors have that option.
I got this a week ago. And it’s dead already. I used it for a few days. Traveled with it. I connect it it doesn’t turn on then turns to a blue screen “no signal” and then power saves. And I can’t turn back on afterwards. Horrible product.

Nice! Can you drop the link for it?
Just bought this because of your video. Thanks brother!
Hope you enjoy it!
Is this work good now

Awesome thank you!
Or open steam in desktop mode
The big question is can you use the monitor with a steam deck while also having the steam deck charging?
If you have the steam deck in a dock and plug the monitor to the dock then yes

I honestly don’t have this specific model anymore but I think it did have freesync

I haven’t tried. Someone’s phones require a power source to be connected to the monitor. Have you tried that?
Great review brother! And how is it so far? Did you face any sort of heating or malfunctioning issues?
No issues for me so far! And thank you!

That’s a great use for it! It’s well worth the price and the portability is unmatched

Is it hard to see or does it makes you focus and play better since you don't have to look around like you do with a bigger screen?
Does the monitor have a battery? Or does it need to plugged in for Power?
I had a problem i change the port c1 and i try for many hours to change it but the screen does not open the setings . Any way how can i fix that !!?

Do you know if you can get the 2k at 120hz for series X
Never mind I saw the video shows it at 11:44z. What’s the link to purchase this?
Just plug the name into Amazon and it should pop up
@@hartomethod I

Do other systems work on the monitor? Maybe you got a bad product, I’d ask for an exchange
What size is this screen?
Do you need a steam dock? Or can i use just thr hdmi?
16 inches I’d recommend using a dock so you can charge the steam deck too but you don’t need one
@@hartomethod thank you so much
Can the USB ports on the Xbox power the monitor? I'm planning on getting a similar one for my PS5. Thanks in advance for any responses.
That’s a great question. I didn’t measure how much power it outputs. I’d imagine it’s possible but can’t confirm!

This monitor did have that option but I honestly didn’t pay too much attention to testing it!
@@hartomethod OK, thank you 😊
Is there a link to this product?
I can’t find this specific one anymore but there are plenty of other similar products on Amazon!
Whats the response time
Not sure
Man why they gottta go with that charging port, thats the only thing thats gonna have me looking at other brands.
Lol
Is this also a touchscreen?
No
Is 5ms 120hz with 2560x1600 with ips and HDR 2k good
It’s pretty normal. Most people won’t notice the difference between 1 and 5ms
@@hartomethod ok thanks

So I have this monitor and I can’t seem to get mine to run at 120hz
It says it’s at 3840x2160 60 hz
Can you help
Have you changed the setting on the device you’re running to make sure it’s outputting 120?
I have the same issue. Can you reiterate how you get there or make a video setting that up
That's not 2k resolution you have your device scaling up to 4k 2k is 2560 by 1440.
Nice🎉
Appreciate it!
Worth it for ps5?
Yeah!
@@hartomethod Thank you because I don't have budget for 4k tv so I'm planning to get one of this, cause I'm just playing through the obs screen, but all video capture cards has only 30hz only
Yeah this is for sure an upgrade and it’s portability is awesome
I just ordered this and it’s coming in tomorrow! How is the 120hz and clarity?
It’s a matte screen so the anti-reflection is nice but it’s not as clear as a glossy screen. Still looks really good for 1440p 120hz
