Good info thanks for sharing! I hadn't thought about placing my monitor in spot that balances better

Great video - How do you close the door on the fx3 once the dummy battery is installed. mine won't close as there isn't any gap for the cable to go through.

Thanks heaps 😊 ah yeh I just close it gently to as far as it goes and then clip in the camera to the base plate it just holds - not ideal I know what you'd saying about there being no gap but it works and haven't had any issues. A lot of people use V-lock batteries for their cine rigs but I found that to be bulky hence why I got the titan base it's much cleaner but realised the FX3 doesn't have a gap! 😝 So far that's what I'm doing give that a go see how it works for you 😊👍

@@joannestephan Thank you. I guess Sony didn't want to compromise on the weather seal hence why there isn't a gap for the cable to go through.

@@1imanni1 definitely that would have been the main reason! But it is doable with the way I mentioned mine is set up! Goodluck and let me know if you have any other questions ✌️

It looks good from what I can see cage systems are a very personal thing and depends very much on your shooting style and type of work that you do which varies for everyone 😁 take what you can from each review and how other people use them and then see what works best for you 😊
