Hey 3 years later. Tell Dan I love his van. Watching the video, I did not see the engine belly pan. It goes from the grill opening to under the radiator. It is not a gravel guard it really is part of the cooling system. My wife’s ‘62 still has it. If you guys just google Econoline belly pan…people are remaking them now…love the van

Did this engine have a load-o-matic distributor? Should ditch that, if you have advance/top end acceleration issues. Sweet ride, love those Econolines, and great video! Now just need to do a T-5 swap 😉

Only a min into this and I knew that holley efi was the way to go. Curious to see if you had to get an offe intake and if that fit ok in there.

The van took the EFI on the stock intake. I had an Offenhauser intake on the CJ when it was carbureted and just kept it for the EFI modification. If the sniper was available when I put EFI on the Jeep, I would gone with Holley and probably would have kept the stock intake. If looking for a bunch more power...I would go with the LS swap.

@@ntdracing I ended up selling my jeep a few years ago...literally spent $6k on a new Jet Knee Mill just to make jeep parts...I'd wanted a mill 20 years. Jeeps gone, mill is in the garage still brand new, never even wired up. Should come in handy someday for a van or something. Work too much now to use it....80hrs a week. Thx for reply!

I have a 64 Econoline van just about same color and I noticed you have rear shackles...how did you get around the gas fill inlet pipe upon installing the shackles? I need to lift mine approx 1 inch or more but the fuel fill pipe is in the way. Did you have to rearrange the pipe or get a different one? My gas fill pipe if part metal and part fuel rubber. Appreciate any help or tips you can provide.

I have a 65 Econoline Truck, I want to do this install on mine, where did you get the fuel pump?
Can't tell on Holly's website if it comes with the kit.

You do have to purchase a pump. You can probably find a better deal, but we used this. www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/fuel_system_kits/parts/526-5. Thanks for watching and good luck.

No one wanted to take on the project? Isn't this sort of stuff literally what these hot rod shops do? In California, a national hot spot of car culture, no less? Something's rotten in Cleveland. And California as well, apparently.
