    I feel they should give all the sniper one customers a huge trade in. Mine’s had bad injectors twice. Apparently it’s a problem or they wouldn’t have mentioned the new connectors on the injectors.

    I hope they will do a staggered opening Q-jet type spreadbore, like they did before: to run on 2 small barrels for most cruising and have all the CFM when all 4 barrels open up...with hopefully 500 HP of capacity or more.

    Is the fuel rail pump still extremely loud? Or can i use the Edelbrock sump pump and connect it to the Holley sniper and use my mechanical fuel pump.

    What kind of upgradability will we have with Sniper 1? I got my Sniper 1 about 2 months ago and would have rather gone with the sniper 2 of we knew this was coming. I just dropped 4k between the efi tank, hyperspark, Sniper 1, and installation cost.

      Ugggh that's really unfortunate timing. Of course, almost no manufacturer is going to torpedo sales of their outgoing product by announcing the new one too early, however, an upgrade path is what separates the really top tier companies from the 'competent but also ran' ones.
      Hopefully they either have a trade-in program or at least have a board upgrade planned for version 1 snipers.

      @@noobFab Absolutely not, I called about upgrading my sniper one to the model that handles the higher horse. They said the body for the higher horse is much bigger to house the dual injectors.

      @noobFab I hope they due show some buy up trade it option. The part that sucks is that the new sniper is only like 50 bucks more than gen 1. You'd figure with the launch of gen2 that gen 1 would go down in price but it doesn't seem to have.

      Nope it can’t.Nothing wrong with this 4150 I bought 30 years ago.AFR shows I am dead nuts on point with it.waste of money.Sniper 1 had so many issues.Do you need to keep up with the upgrades?.Sniper 1 will be obsolete soon.Were are you going to find parts?

    Your sniper system is not field serviceable. For restomods, it is almost always out of warrantee by the time the system is up and running. You also do not provide parts diagrams. And the topper to it all is that I have to ship it to you, you give a 6 to 8 week turnaround time for diagnosis, and possible repair, that I may have to pay for. In the meantime, it’s leaking fuel, probably because of a bad O ring.
    If you bought a product stating its superiority and dealt with this poop show, would you ever trust the company?

    Stay away.. you will throw away 500 dollars buying all of the other stuff to make this system actually work.. you cannot just order this for a carb replacement... you will end up with a paper weight unless you have 1500 dollars minimum to make this system a viable carb replacement.. do your research... they haven't

    Will anything from my sniper 1 setup work with this? Also one of the major issues was heat killing the ecu, was anything done to rectify that? I personally went through 2 sniper units.

    Does this sniper 2 require a return line to work properly? I want to run a few lines as possible. Can i use the holley regulator/filter part #12-875 with the sniper 2?

      If you buy one of our universal returnless tank modules or muscle car modules (vehicle specific fitment) then yes you can run one line up with no regulator inline.       The harnesses don't interchange, but the wiring plug ins for the vehicle are the same. Meaning the ignition, battery, fuel pump, etc. You can reuse those same connection points.

    Sorry im new. I am getting a 6.0 and am trying to figure out why the holley sniper efi would be more benficial than a lsxr or tbss intake. And even when looking for airboxes for these types of applications i cant seem to find a airbox nor a plate to cover the throttle body with.

      @@DadbrosGarage I've been to the classes holley offers for the efi training. And the instructors best explanation is "the system isn't capable of fueling/mapping a radical cam." I'm not saying it can't be done because I'm sure some tuners have figured it out but the instructor advised against it possibly to save the heartache? The self tuning program works to an extent if its properly set up but shouldn't be heavily relied on. Look up videos over the wizard tune feature.

      Sorry this is long winded but below this first paragraph is my thought (opinion) on Stealth compared to Carb
      (with long duration/overlap cams) and I also explain my experience with Custom Building Tables.
      For those that don't know of them, (even though I've been tuning Holley EFI for years) I have learned LOT from these guys.
      "Joe Simpson" and "Devin Vanderhoof" IMO have by far the best, most in depth Holley EFI videos.
      Joe shows and explains a lot of in depth tuning, while Devin's channel is more about "Proper Wiring" and setting up
      MANY things in the Software. And JFYI, yes I said Software and Joe's "Watch this BEFORE You Buy a Holley EFI Snipper in 2023" explains why. AND, both of them are "entertaining" as well so check them out 👍
      I'm not disagreeing with any instructors (that would be ignorant) but you can look at it this way.
      The Sniper's fuel placement is similar to carburetors and there's still tons of vehicles running carbs with giant cams
      (but in many cases they have the carb set to idle higher).
      With that said:
      I know it costs more but I do recommend going with the Terminator X if possible because Multiport Injection is for sure better.
      (injectors way closer to the valves).
      ...Edit... Another reason that Terminator is better (if needed) Load Sensing can be changed.
      (see "...Edit..." paragraph below)...
      But either way, this is one of my experiences with tuning an engine with aggressive cam.
      I do all of the (Term X) tuning on a friend's race-only LS swapped S-10 and sorry but I don't remember what size his cam is (I know it isn't mild)...
      The issues with long duration, overlap cams is "lack of, and erratic vacuum (MAP) at idle" which can lead to not getting all of the fuel into the ports at low RPM (which for obvious reasons is worse with TBI).
      The vacuum is erratic with cam/idle-lope and the lower vacuum makes it idle farther up on the Base Fuel Table = loss of resolution.
      But since I have always built Custom Tables (I stopped counting my Holley EFI tunes on Dragbikes years ago at 30+).
      It's easy to add resolution to the Fuel Table by replacing the higher vacuum (lower kPa numbers) with larger values that are closer to where your engine normally runs, plus you can increase the spread between the two kPa rows (right where it idles) so it only fluctuates up/down on those two rows (vs 3+ rows with closer/tighter kPa spread) = keeps both the Fuel Flow and Timing steady.
      And (I see your C-10 is Street) JFYI, if it's Drag Race only the loss of resolution doesn't really matter (but I always make the above changes anyway because I'm picky and have always built Custom Tables).
      ...Edit... Big mistake. I apologize for posting this paragraph before looking at Sniper V--2 Software. I see now that Load Sensing can't be changed, which makes this paragraph useless on this video but I'm going to leave it for anyone that might be curious what can be done with TermX, HP and Dominators...
      Two ways to get a better to best idle are (this one is for extreme cases and it's more complicated).
      Set the Load Sensing to "VE Combo" which adds a small "Alfa-N Idle Fuel" table for the idle (and just above idle) RPM.
      This doesn't change the main VE Based Fuel table but Alfa-N Idle Fuel is Lb/Hr Fuel (with TPS/RPM axes) = doesn't matter what MAP is doing at idle. Combo is more complicated because it requires having to figure out where the transition between the two fuel tables needs to be set (Max TPS% and RPM settings for the Alfa-N Idle table), along with having to make sure the Fuel Flow is the same (as close as possible) when/where it transitions form Alf-N Idle to the main VE Fuel table (for smooth low TPS% / RPM throttle response).
      Kevin's KSR Performance & Fabrication channel shows him deciding to switch to Combo on a Ferrari that has ITBs.
      The second, easier way to get a good/happy idle is by blocking off the Idle Air Control (which will constantly hunt if it isn't configured right, trying to keep the idle smooth) and having erratic vacuum doesn't help that.
      The biggest downsides to plugging the IAC are, you have to hold the idle up yourself on Cold Starts and you won't have IAC to make up for AC compressor load.
      Being honest, I didn't install this TermX and the shop that installed it DID blocked off his IAC (told me it drove him crazy trying to get it to idle right) and since they didn't tell the owner they did that, it drove ME crazy, wondering why none of my (first ever) IAC changes didn't do anything...lol... And lastly, this truck runs perfect everywhere but it does idle lower than I'd like on cold starts (doesn't stall though), so I've been wanting unblock and play with it IAC but the owner lives 1/2 day round trip and when we're at Gainesville racing I'm always helping at least three bikes (plus him if wanted/needed) = no time to play...

    I can't find any information on the fuel pump and fuel filters. The sniper 2 out of the box is E85 compatible, but are the fuel filters and regulator E85 safe?

      Some TBI systems use non PTFE sealing components or other reactive material that E85 will eat through faster than components specifically chosen to be used with E85. I returned this unit after I bought it, as it was nearly useless for my application and wants and wasn't technically E85 compatible anyway. ​@darensell2241

      It took me nearly two weeks to get a straight answer out of them. Technically you can run e85 through the unit only but they won't warranty issues. ​The master fuel kit for efi conversionis not. You need specific filters, which holley does sell. You also need a different pump and different ptfe lines. @darensell2241

    @holley I’ll be excited when you guys actually do something and support plug and play Chrysler OD controls. I mean, it’s not difficult; literally lockup and overdrive, everything else is done by itself.
