Whoa, that's odd! You ended up missing probably the most important part of Berdly's backstory, which, ironically, is nothing to do with Berdly at all.
When Noelle gets nervous in the spelling bee, the word she needed to spell, the winning word, was "December".
Additionally, the word you and Noelle spelled out with those buttons at the start of this episode is also "December".
That's all I'm gonna say.
One thing Spamton Neo says is “Kris take the deal! Do you wanna be a Heart on a Chain your whole life?” and afterwards when Susie asks Kris if they’re ok Ralsei says they were “yelling”
I think that really got to Kris, both on a personal level in their life and on a meta level being controlled by you

Not an important detail, but Lancer *does* know Kris's name lol. I mean he literally just said he was "relaxing in Kris's spacious Pants Hole". He's simply gone from referring to them as "blue person whose name I don't know" to "blue person whose name I know". Alternatively, he forgot Kris's name during the 5 or so seconds between the two lines. Whichever takes your fancy.

Slightly more important, the search queries listed are not assumptions, they are precisely what was searched. So Kris did indeed search for how to make a diy bath bomb. Not an actual one, at least, to our knowledge.
Also, as for the "how to use magic", a lot of people miss this, but it's referring to the fact that Kris is a human, and cannot use magic like monsters can. And Kris has a history of wanting to be like other monsters (the horns they used to wear).
The piano tutorial is simple: Kris plays the piano. I think you saw this already, when visiting the hospital. The doctor/receptionist guy says he used to love it when you played the piano, but for some reason, you can't play it anymore when you try to. If you visit again in this Chapter, you get a little more dialogue about it.
For even more info, the Spamton Sweepstakes (a charity auction that took place a while ago, selling Deltarune merch) basically had an ARG with a bunch of webpages, some of which are blog posts from Noelle. One of them talks about Kris playing the piano. All the pages are well worth checking out if you're interested.
It didn't show in the cutscene (looks like it skipped over it) but the word noelle got nervous and lost on in the spelling bee was "December"
That's also the same word that Noelle spelled out in the earlier scene when walking on the letter keys 😮

That bit about Susie reviving, remember that the puzzle 🧩 npcs explained in chapter 1 that getting knocked down just means that you have negative health, so you can revive anyone with a normal healing item as long as it heals them above the negative health they have!

The game makes so much more sense when you separate yourself from Kris, try to keep that in mind and you'll have a much better understanding about the main character :)

Queen was indeed telling the truth about this. In case you haven't finished the chapter, I'll explain below.
She didn't threaten Berdly's life, she carefully chose her wording to refer to a "certain bird". Soon in the chapter, when you're alone with Ralsei, you take... a ride in the acid river. On... a certain bird. Indeed, interacting with the bird after the ride says something along the lines of:
"Looks like a certain bird is taking a ride in the acid river". Took me a good minute to work out what this line meant when I saw it the first time.

Just wanted to add a note, the part where Berdly is talking about the spelling bee glitched! It’s supposed to say “DECEMBER” as the last word, that being the reason Noelle froze up. If you saw while you were editing, Noelle was also spelling “DECEMBER” in the puzzle where she was talking about her past with Kris, Asriel, and her sister Dess. Just thought I’d point that out since I think it’s relatively important/interesting :)
Yeah, I've never seen that bug out. Ironically it might be because she was waiting to see all the words, that she ended up missing the most important one.

its def a glitch, its the second time i see this on a playthrough, its quite a shame such important thing its bugged, hope Toby and his team find a way to fix it up for the paid release
Spamton is genuinely one of my absolute favourite characters of all time, I love everything about him lol. The way he talks, his design, theme, character and his role in the chapter are all genius. I really like his backstory and the fact that we have the option to help him get a new body that he wanted to use to free himself but ended up being a literal puppet is tragic. He's such a deranged little gremlin that I can't fail to love despite of the fact that he's still kinda evil, he wanted to get Kris's soul after all

1:10:00 btw if you are curious about Ralsei not turning into stone, here is a possible explanation/theory. Since he seemingly is assgined to a world with a pure fountain he might in turn be able to live in any dark world. There's also a possibility that he is a special kind of darkner or maybe there's something else special about him that doesn't conflict with the cyberworld. He did said that someone "might" not belong so perhaps there are some exceptions
Fun fact: keygens were basically a software used as a way to get games for much cheaper. Interestingly when used they also had their own chip tunes!
And a small tip if you don't mind: the magic stat increases Ralsei's healing so I recommend using the magic inreasing items on him
Im so happy you found the funny moment with berdly and starwalker. It only happens if you find starwalker in chapter one and then give berdly the present. Its cute to have the whole team follow you. Best easter egg.

You did pretty well on Spamton there, he was one of the toughest fights in the game. I enjoyed this video immensely, looking forward to the next one
So, unlike my point on the last video, this one I'm not totally sure of, and it's just a theory. But I wanted to say something less obvious that hundreds of people won't already be talking about: Note how one of Susie's searches says "THIS library sucks!" suggesting she's IN the library when she's typing it. Why's she in the library when she hates it there? It might be that it's the only place where she has access to a computer. That's not too unusual. HOWEVER, combine it with her surprise at having her own room and her love of boxes, it implies things.
That's one thing I want to highlight: Susie's love of boxes. She went to a Halloween party dressed as a box (I wonder if she was the one who stole the Tutorial Masters donation box from the old classroom as a Light World object. They did say: "We had a box. But it got STOLE."). She loves Noelle's box with a robot face in it, calling it a "cool box" and wanting to know where it went. But the biggest thing of all: if you observe a stack of boxes with Susie in the Cyber City, she says "Hell yeah, boxes! You really were LIVING IT UP here without us, huh Kris?"
So she doesn't have her own room AND she refers to "Living it up" in boxes. It's pretty obvious Susie doesn't have a great home life, but with the repeated comments about boxes thing, I'd actually take it a step further and say that she's homeless. I could be wrong. But that's the impression I get. And there's more evidence for this later on in the game, when you get to it.
Yeah, it does seem pretty likely. And I think she's mentioned that she's already uploaded the rest of Deltarune to early access, so I presume she already knows about Susie being Alphys' "pet", and not calling her parents in Kris' house.
Now this is a reach, but I feel slightly obligated to point out the weird Clam Girl in Undertale, who only shows up for certain fun values (I think) and speaks of a "Suzy". Many things she says seem to allude to Deltarune, too. Some talk of fate, etc.
But notably, she says that "Suzy" is her neighbor's daughter. No clue what that means, or if it even matters, but it's certainly hard to make sense of in Undertale alone.

Another interesting clue relating to this has to do with the last light puzzle with Susie and Berdly. The house is Susie's shade of purplish pink, implying that she may have some troubles with her home life if they are foreshadowing something greater about the game's characters. The rest are pretty non-concrete in their meanings, but from what I can tell (and based on other guesses I've heard relating to the shadows in this community) these are my thoughts at least: the orange one looks like a boot which I'm not sure exactly if we have a character to match with that one just yet (Seam is the only important and distinctly orange character that comes to mind), the yellow one looks like some kind of magic like on the menu option which may reflect something about Noelle's power (being vague here intentionally) or Kris's apparent wanting to cast magic, the green one looks like a wave and may relate to Kris or Ralsei's strange connections to the Song of the Sea or the lake on the outskirts of hometown (lots going on there), and the cute lil bird could be Berdly representing his fear of being a forgettable blue bird. Again, this is all predicated on interpretations of interpretations, but it's still an overlooked yet interesting little symbolic connection. I'm sure it'll be one of those things we look back on and go "oh that makes way too much sense" once more chapters come out.

Good job with Spamton, you did really well, dont worry about items, they exists so you can use it, besides, beating the second hardest boss of the game on your second attempt and without having practiced with the hardest boss of the game so far (the secret boss on Ch1) so its even more impressive that youve done it so fast.
Btw, the word that you and Noelle spelled when she was telling us part of her past and who she is was "December" and, unluckily but nothing you couldve made of it cz its not your fault, when Berdly was telling us his backstory, the word on the final when it was the two of them was supposed to be also "December", to which Noelle wasnt even able to spell a letter, which its weird cz she was spelling everything faster than Berdly, maybe that word means something for her.

I could be wrong, but I'm like 99.9% sure that December is Noel's sister's name, and everyone calls her Dess for short. It makes sense when you realize the whole family has names related to Christmas. Noel Holiday, Her dad Rudolph "Rudy" Holliday, and then her sister December "Dess" Holiday.
@@pixywings yeh, i mean we dont specifically know but its heavily implied that Noelle has an older sister called December whos missing but probably alive. I just didnt wanted to say it since we learn more about her on the scene between Susie and Noelle and on the room Queen has for her (The calendar description she has says something like "its a calendar, all the pages are the last month and all the days are 25th" which is what youll find if you search for "December Holiday").
She already saw since she only public this videos for all when she finishes the game but anyway i didnt wanted to "spoil" it.
