Those colored people in those small windows were known as Addisons, and they're basically ads in the Dark World of Cyber City. And the clown around town is thought to be Jevil, the secret boss of Chapter 1.
Man, I love Ad Infinite because there are so many little references to different stage shows which I have happened to be in namely The Pirate Of Penzance( I think that's how you spell it) and The Music Man.

I remember as soon as I figured out there was a Spamton boss fight/side quest, I immediately went and did it cuz I refused to beat it the first time cuz I need that extra lore lmao
Ive done some research using my scientific knowledge and i fiund others who have the same idea he was being controlled by a higher being as when the phone calls stoped he fell into poverty meaning he is being controlled by making him reliant on the phone matpat thinks the same but he put a face on the figure or who he believes it is

Around 10:30 to the end almost feels like a Don't Hug Me I'm Scared song but without the gore/body horror.
