Always very nice to watch and hear the 7 liter engine go! Mine is manual transmission too like all C6 Z06, but it came with launch control! Love it!
A C6 z is with a manual is unusual? They all had manuals.
Yeah, all c6 Z06 had manual transmissions. Auto was not an option back then.

Can someone tell me the operating temperature on a car like this?
usually around 205 Degrees F depending on conditions it can go up or down 10 degrees.
Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds ok cuz in town it gets as high as 240 on the gauge and on the highway it sits at 220 in the middle. I imagine the long tube headers make it get hot
@@safetypermian9445 anything over 225 is getting pretty hot, maybe the sender is bad?. Vettes are notorious for running hot once modified,it takes a bit of work and parts to keep them in the 215 range if the are hopped up.
Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds the sender? What’s that, I was thinking changing the stock thermostat of 190 to a 160 to see if that would help it out, still needs a tune, so maybe they can adjust the fans and all that aswell.
@@safetypermian9445 I was referring to the temperature sender, going to a 160 and have the fans come on early helps. You might want to go with a big dewitts radiator as well.
