The true mark of an artist isn't creativity or talent (both of which you have tons of), its the perseverance to realize one's vision. You really made something impressive despite the setbacks. Nice work man. Looking forward to seeing this all come together. Never stop building.
Just a thing I learnt from N.maker Never sculpt with full putty, use foils as shape and putty for only to cover the surface😄 And very recommended to use proper hobby putty
After I read your comment, I immediately go to his channel and watch his EVA custom video Man, it had been a while. Thank you for reminding of such a great builder like him
yes, wire reinforcement (armatures), bulk up areas with foil, and use 2-part putty like Apoxie Sculpt or Green Stuff or similar. The epoxy putties cure hard like a plastic resin; the clay you were using probably needs to be baked in an oven to be fully cured. Good on ya staying with the project and working with the setbacks. No such thing as a failure if you've learned something that will help future successes.
@@bjsteg79 The clay he used doesn't have to be baked. It's completely air dry - but it's very heavy. He could've gone with some lighter paper clay and just shower it with super glue to make it really hard.
One of my favorite aspects of this channel is witnessing the growth. Seeing the new elements added over time, building custom parts, adding LEDs, dioramas, and the improvement as time goes on and more experience is gained is impressive. I have no doubt that we'll be seeing some impressive sculpting in the future after lessons were learned here. The perseverance when things go wrong is inspiring. This channel is more than watching someone talented; it's watching someone add techniques and develop them over hours of effort put into the hobby. Thanks for all of the great content! Never stop building.
Now THIS... IS WHOLE OTHER LEVEL OF BADASSERY!!! Turn your mistakes into opportunities, opportunities in reality... And turn that... Into a dream coming true...
Looks amazing. G paint is awesome. Really love how easy it is to use and to mix. Got both the Halloween and regular set from my wife for Christmas. Can’t wait for the next set to come out!
last night as i was building part of a 3 month project, i noticed a critical part had gone missing, it was absolutely heartbreaking because i had no alternatives to complete the kit. I may scratch build something later on but that project has given me nothing but grief from the second i cut it out of the runners. I am happy to see you didn't give up, and it gives me strength to pick that kit up again, just not right now...
My favorite part of the videos is how inspirational he talks to us throughout they videos that building Gunpla or other things were going to face failure but just get up brush yourself off and keep building. Love the Vids Studio G👍👑
I just commented about a customized angel last night, and this video pop out!! Why the bell did not ring! Its amazing how calm and dedicated you are creating this one!!!! This channel deserves more than just a million subs and praises!! More Power and Don't Stop Building!!!!!!!
DUUUUUUDE! That is freaking AWESOME! Also, just gotta say that seeing how you continue to persevere, even when faced with hurdles like time crunch, or broken pieces or whatever, is HUGELY helpful and inspiring. You keep getting back up and making it work, and that deserves mad props. It also inspires me to keep working, even when I feel like I just can't. Thanks man.
To be honest I am not satisfied with the Eva Angel you made. But with you showing all the effort you put in, along with the many failures that have occurred and wasted time. You Keep trying to make it successful and I appreciate it. You're the best bro NEVER STOP BUILDING.
Very well done, Sir! Your continuing to move forward, even as you kept experiencing setbacks was very inspirational! And the angel turned out EPIC! Thank you.
If you are feeling rushed or tired, don't worry, those of us who understand won't be mad at you for being late! If getting some rest will help you in anyway, we won't be mad. Your work is amazing
I feel like it was fate that you ended up using the Graze. As much as I love Barbatos, if you’re going for that ‘grunt’ or ‘mass produced’ look and feel, then starting with a mobile suit that IS a mass produced grunt just feels right. Amazing video as ALWAYS! Keep up the awesome work!!
It was nice to see you fail for once. All of your work is so damn good it was like you could never make any mistakes. Seeing you prevail and learn through failure. Now you seem more relatable. Awesome job on that custom.
I haven't been subscribed long. However, I enjoyed your videos I have seen so far. I enjoy your enthusiasm and your drive to never give up! Keep up the great work!
I never expect that you would go on this... the angel..... yes the angel gives life to your new story.. I hope this would help... to use the older scale of the 5th production model... I woulf like to see more creation from that kit... well it is too old but it was like this kit you just made.. and hope you will use it too
Not a huge fan of how the wings turned out, but I really like how everything else came together, especially as you had a lot less time to do it after those failures. Genuinely inspiring that you kept going despite it all, I would have given up for sure! Also adapting the cracks into a design choice rather than try to repair it was very clever as well, overall a great build.
Nice vid and build! I totally agree with the other comments on using foil to build mass but not weight. I also rough sand, pin or glue tiny odd shapes of flat styrene for epoxy putty to wrap around so they don't slide off smooth surfaces. Use water to smooth after you get the basic shape, otherwise water can get underneath and prevent a bond. Plus when scouring the surface you can use Dymo tape (guide tape) if you only want to sand in small areas. I love your paint jobs. Try masking fluid/ liquid latex to save on tape when painting! Saved me time. I hope that helps! Stay safe God Bless!
Dude, well done. Its nice,to see how other artists deal with crunch time. Its really similar. Haha, you should be proud. You made a killer deadline and accomplished a ton of work. Honestly well done. Also i really like how smooth it is. Its a little unsettling compared to tye evas. The have so much, but this guy, almost none. It works well. Creepier vibe. Also just a thought. Tongue might ve cool on him. Give a pop of color in the face. Major props! You are very skilled and professional. Well done!🔥🐲
Nice effort- May I suggest the Tamiya molding 2-part modeling epoxy based putty next time you are looking to do a sculpted figure around a plastic frame. Results work better than the modeling clay. It cracks very very easily. LIVE THE VIDEO THO!!!!!!!!!
Quite like it, it honestly doesn't look to out of place over all. One thing that I may have done was paint the "nails" on the hands a white just to make them pop a bit more. Other than that this is another great build and paint job.
Love your videos and the effort you put in, so inspiring! I've learnt a lot from these, hopefully your next build can be a simple relaxing kit for you :)
Ridiculously impressive. If this is what you can do by customizing the shit out of one kit to turn it into something completely different, I can't wait to see what you do to the RG EVA Mk.06 coming out soon.
Just like with me and my self made shelfs. I like to use leftover wood from other broken furniture, it is sometimes amazing what you can get by using broken or damaged parts. Your angel is the same. The cracks in the clay, althought frustrating, give it character and make it look like it really means business. Thanks for the videos you made over this year, lets hope that 2021 wont be as much of a shit fest as this year was. If may make a suggestion, there is a certain Astray in Build Divers Re:Rise that would deserve a custom body and paint job. Hope you know which one I mean, the weird one with the two modes.
This is really great. Love to see the creativity. Feels like an Angel, without actually being one. That said, I'll be happier when we get back to Gundam and away from the EVA series. Still great videos, and love seeing the customization and paint. But EVA and the designs just aren't my thing.
Great video man. I was hoping that you will give him teeth but because you were running out of time i can understand why you didn't. Anyway have a good day and good luck with your next custom!!! :)
The arms are too short... Me reading that with the voice of the Toy Story's T-rex hahahahahahaha, awesome job dude, I'm too a very fan of NGE, Evas are the best.

What a quote, I love it. 👌🏼
13:20 That circle Lamp on top totally sells the Angel vibe! * , *
Love how in the face of many failures, you still go on and not give up. Never stop building 👍
That’s the whole reason I subbed to his channel. It shows me that even if I fail once, it doesn’t mean I can’t try again.

Man, an Ava mixed with a Graze is super clever! Mass production meets mass production?
Sorry bro i accidentally click dislike😓
@@abdulbaqi3167 it doesn't matter.
That effects nothing.
Mass productception (?)
Maybe even cross production? 8o

Using a graze as an MP eva is got to be one of the smartest decisions I've ever seen
That's why you apply NEVER STOP BUILDING.
You gonna make it at many times, you are going to make possibilities happen most.
You're an absolute genius and an inspiration to builders around the world

Honestly this gave me insight on how custom kits, not just custom paintjobs, are made
Such an amazing build, and thank you for showing your process including the mistakes made! Truly I learned a lot from this one.
I think this is the best custom so far. Failure being turned into a great detail like those veins, looks so good 😊
Very well done, Sir! Your continuing to move forward, even as you kept experiencing setbacks was very inspirational! And the angel turned out EPIC! Thank you.
Evangelion collabs of iron blooded orphans. Synchronize together into a mass production mecha.
Super badass, especially the sliding-with-open-wings pose!! Damnnn
These look a lot more like the angel carriers from Evangelion ANIMA than the mass production Evas. Great build regardless.
Amazing job dude! Can't wait to see what you create next! Thanks for sharing your process with us!
Wow just Wow, i love how you are not afraid to fail and it just inspires to do better and learn more!! Awe inspiring ❤️❤️
