You're an absolute saint for sharing this. This might be one of the most powerful performances I've ever seen, of anything (no hyperbole).
Thank you.
this is the most special performance I've ever seen. goosebumps every time
I’m not crying, you’re crying. Just kidding we’re all sobbing.
This is my favorite UA-cam video
So, i saw Julien live for the first time, when she played in Munich, last sunday. It really was very amazing, just awesome. And after the concert, i had the chance to talk to the violinist, Camille Faulkner, for some minutes. She, like Julien, is just such a nice and warmly person ...
OK, so in our conversation i told her about this video, that i found it up here on YT and raved about how fucking amazing this performance was. And in her reaction to that, she then asked me, if i recognized that she got quite nervous at some point during the performance, respectively, if this was visible in the video. And i replied, that i was very suprised to here that, because i did not recognize such a reaction of her, all the many times i have already watched this video. She then went on to tell me, that she got so nervous, because a person in the crowd had passed out, right in front of her and that she stopped playing her violin part at this point of the performance, to go to the side of the stage and tell it to the security/ambulance.
So, now i am curious, if anyone who watched this video also didn't recognize this??? You can see it between 5:50 and 6:10.
That's some really cool insight, never noticed her getting nervous either. Thanks for sharing that story!
wow. thought there was a technical mishap or something
I cried listening to this
Thanks so much for capturing and sharing this.
