The Suicide Commandos opened for Bob Mould at First Avenue on April 23, 2016. When Bob went to Macalester College in St. Paul, he asked The Suicide Commandos guitarist Chris Osgood to be his guitar teacher. Bob had already met Grant Hart and Greg Norton, but they weren't Hüsker Dü yet. As Bob tells it is his memoir See a Little Light, it was Chris who really pushed Bob to form a band.

I think this sucks personally. I pay to see the Bob Mould power trio, not all these other yahoos.

One of those "yahoos", as you put it, is Chris Osgood. The guy who taught Bob how to play, if you are too lazy, or closed minded, to look it up

@@garagepunkfan I said the exact opposite, that it's cool the tour manager is a baller; and it took me 3 minutes of awe to realize that is Jon Wurster on drums; so I'll stink up this thread to say that years ago I saw Superchunk on MTV and then the NYT had a story about indie rock and only because a kid from Greensboro and Chapel Hill went to high school with those guys and then was out here one year on sabbatical or his mother was I called up Twin Towers Touring and somehow Jon Wurster was there and they put him on the phone but he had kind of a high voice and I thought he was a girl but he later kinda sorta was my best friend and he changed his sheets before going on tour, or actually his brother stayed with me the night the band --superchunk not Husker du sorry to Bob or Sugar -- was on Conan; fair play to balding rockers with white beards. Unless that's not Jon Wurster and I'm just senile

So, i saw Julien live for the first time, when she played in Munich, last sunday. It really was very amazing, just awesome. And after the concert, i had the chance to talk to the violinist, Camille Faulkner, for some minutes. She, like Julien, is just such a nice and warmly person ... OK, so in our conversation i told her about this video, that i found it up here on YT and raved about how fucking amazing this performance was. And in her reaction to that, she then asked me, if i recognized that she got quite nervous at some point during the performance, respectively, if this was visible in the video. And i replied, that i was very suprised to here that, because i did not recognize such a reaction of her, all the many times i have already watched this video. She then went on to tell me, that she got so nervous, because a person in the crowd had passed out, right in front of her and that she stopped playing her violin part at this point of the performance, to go to the side of the stage and tell it to the security/ambulance. So, now i am curious, if anyone who watched this video also didn't recognize this??? You can see it between 5:50 and 6:10.
