Good report! This isn't disrespect to you because you are playing the game as written but that big ranger unit is a great demo of the absurdity of some of these rules...the little clip charges giving the line full attacks and the massive teleport of the end models when you close the door are hilarious.
That's a lovely paint job on the anvil!
Cheers mate!
Great report !
Hi mate, great report. Im a little confused at around 16.50 when the IronBlaster overuns in a straight line. It should have turned to face the kings unit and overrun towards it. Or it could have restrained. It cant overrun in a straight line. Next time can you test your line Vrs Dragons 😁...
Yes! Good spot, we played that wrong. It’s funny how often you mKe a mistake and don’t even realise until someone comments on it.
I’m going to TSN arena in a couple of weeks so hoping to face some dragons there.. all my regular opponents are too nice and fluffy 😁
@d6wounds ah shame I won't be going. I went to the 3K one there a couple of weeks ago. Great venue and really nice folk. You'll have a blast mate.
+1 forline hammer scholarship
Excellent! Thanks for uploading.
Good fun to watch this one. I think you could’ve afforded to make that line a little longer though.
I always enjoy seeing people's ogre armies, especially if there's some interesting looking character models.
Is the charge even legal? You have to charge their flank but can't contact it.
Id suggest the "legal" charge may actually have been a multicharge into the cats a clipping the ogre unit ironically!
No id say it’s legal, contact is made on the corner of the unit. It’s just aligning to the enemy unit which can’t be done. 👍
I throughly enjoy the rules/items beings put when you are talking about them.
Thanks, I tend to do that for some of the more army specific stuff that people might not know..
Your anvil made with the old 5th edition model it's beautiful! The Scibor dwarven rocks are absolutely the best possible addition to complete the model.
Cheers buddy!
Nice bat rep! The runes of battle on various units need to be mixed and matched with other banner runes to avoid the rule of identical combination ( not correct name). I find having to do this annoying! 😊
Make it fair because warbanner is 1 per army why the Dwarfs can spam rune of battle.
*Note:* They need to take the rune of courage off the thane and onto the Ironbreakers as you can't have identical combination as stated above.
Yes good spot; I missed that. Thane has other runes but ironbreakers banner needs another rune to make it different from the rangers banner.
Awesome models, great batrep!
Love the ogre army. The tyrant converted from what I think looks like a firebelly is very cool.
Hey, great report. What is the name os the colour of Dwarf armour ? looks like one from LoTR
Gromril? Or are you asking me about paints?
Hello brother ! You're dawi are awesome! Can tou tell me where are you find the head of the drake?
Type in ‘dwarf heads’ on Etsy
Love what you've done with the Anvil. The original anvil guards are much better than the later ones in my view and Kragg is the best Runelord model going. Might try to do something similar as it's hard to get a complete original anvil for reasonable money and the later one just doesn't fit as well with my older Dwarfs.
Cheers, I’d had bits of that anvil for a while and Kragg was one of the first dwarf models I ever bought.. along with the plastic monopose warriors!
@@d6wounds He's almost my youngest Dwarf - only got a Mordheim Slayer and some counts as Irondrakes that are more recent. Big fan of him though. Anvils, even the old one, are a bit new-fangled for my tastes, but they seem to be a very important part of the Dwarfs' armoury and since getting an old Gyrocopter at Christmas they're now pretty much the only thing I can't represent in one way or another. Hadn't really thought of doing it with bits before. I do really like the guards though and I'll probably have to exercise considerable patience to get them for a sensible price so might just give a couple of my favourite models the job to start with.
2 gyros and one sneaky doomseeker t,o use the character ability to not be able to get shot, and than flank charge at something, are a solid 200 points investement..
Очень круто 👍
List idea: big unit of longbeards?
Thats definitely an option..
Ogressssss 🔥
Love Ogres, love Warhammer, bloody hate Linehammer. It just creates a lot of weird rule issues and is quite 'gamey'. Still... great battle report. Ogres are mid tier, the Iron Blaster is sadly not that great as it is too busy trying to be a Chariot and a cannon at the same time. Best to run it as a Chariot that can get the occasional cannon shot off.
I think going full on with Bulls is how to do Ogres. A unit of 17 with Iron Fist, Full Command, and the Cannibal Totem led by a Tyrant, Bruisers, and Slaughtermaster is a brutal unit, and one that will be hard to shift. Points denial is the main strength of Ogres.
Sabertusks are great, but I am starting to think Gorgers with Scout perform a better role, as they have a lot more bite (pun intended).
Yup, looks like linehammer is here to stay though, unless they do a v2 and bring base to base and 2nd rank supporting attacks…
It's Grungni, not Grugni.
