Your ear tutorial was really clear and helpful. I used it to modify it into cat ears. If anyone is interested, I just continued row 4 two more times and stopped once they were big enough, then did one more row of HDC in each (no increase), then one row of decrease using single crochets (I would SC in one, skip one, SC in next, skip, repeat), so I ended up with pointy triangle cat ears and stood straight up.

The directions in your blog say to use the G hook and use single crochet stitches. It also doesn't have joins. I am making the size 6/8 girl's sweater that you attached the ears to. Which size unicorn ears should I use?
Hi Vickie! Yes, for the horn you will use the G hook and continuous rounds of single crochet...for the ears you will use the 6mm/J hook and is done in joined rounds of half double crochet.
How do you make the hair! I've tried 3.5, on up and I cannot get the hair right using no 2 fine weight YarnArt which is what the pattern calls for.
Hi, I just wanted to put a suggestion, please tell us how many stitches we need to have an the end of any increasing round. 13 was weird how it increased because 10 stitches, with 2 sc and an inc doesn't add up, i know this because those of us who start with a sc then inc, are supposed to end on an increase. However, the inc works out to be on stitch 9, not 10 making us add a sc, working out to 13. but you added an increase at the end to make it work to 14 because you started with an increase so you added an increase on the weird last stitch. to summarize, those who start with a sc, end on an inc, those who start with an inc end on a sc usually. just something to note
