I have spent hours trying to do the perfect fox ear and then I found your video. (Almost) perfect ear first time. Typical..at least I can go to bed and sleep now, I won't be lying awake all night worrying. Thank you. :) X
For my personal use Inner ear: Slip knot Ch 7 R1-sc across(6) Ch 1,turn ur work R2-sc across(6) Ch 1,turn ur work R3-decrease,sc next 2 st,decrease Ch 1,turn ur work R4-sc across(4) Ch 1,turn R5-decrease 2 times Ch 1 and turn R6-sc 2 st Ch 1 and turn R7-sc,decrease Cut yarn Outer ear: Ch 7 R1-sc across(6) Ch 1 and turn R2-sc across(6) Ch 1 and turn R3-decrease,sc next 2 st,decrease Ch 1 and turn R4-sc across Ch 1 and turn R5-decrease across Ch 1 and turn R6-sc 2 sts Ch 1 and turn R7-decrease Don’t cut yarn yet Place inner ear on top of outer ear.Turn outer ear the wrong side towards you and the inner ear the right way towards you.Insert hook through the inner ear triangle and yarn over and pull through(sc) and keep on doing sc all the way around.Do 2 sc in each corner to help not curl. Slip stitch to join. Cut extra long tail and weave.
This was very helpful ... I crocheted a fox from another pattern and did three ears but they didn’t turn out right ... i searched for how make fox ears and found your video and they turned out correct the first try ... Thank you so much ... much success and peace with tour craft
All foxes are bastards! (Used to keep chickens and lost all but 2 to one fox attack but that's by-the-by). But thank you, SO much better than having a go, having to unpick it all, having another go x26 times!
