- Weber Kettle and a beautiful Rack of Pork. Cooked perfectly with the Slow ’N Sear!
• Started with a 5 lb Rack of Pork from Costco.
• Brined the pork for 24 hours with apple juice leftover from our applesauce making, and salt. Rinsed it off and blotted it dry before seasoning.
• Seasoned with Pork Barrel seasoning from Costco
• Put the Slow ‘N Sear in the Weber Kettle for this cook.
• Brought the grill up to 400 degrees to start the cook.
• Placed the Rack of Pork on the indirect side. I was shooting for internal temperature of 145 degrees before pulling off the grill.
• Once we hit around 100 degrees, we turned it for a more even cook.
• Pulled the Rack of Pork and covered for about 20 minutes before cutting.
Summary: The Rack of Pork turned out amazingly tender and juicy. The temperature of the grill
slowly dropped from 400 degrees to 300 by the time the internal temperature was
reached. I would do this exactly the same way when cooking again.

That is such a great problem to have... trying to decide which cooker to use! Great job with these they really looked very juicy.
SDSBBQ It is a good problem, I am sure with all of your grill you may have had this dilemma as well! LOL I love the rack of pork, Costco only has these at the holidays, so I stock up! Thanks!
@@beers-jackofbbq LOL yup I've been there before.
Looks fantastic!
Eastwind Farms These turn out soo good and stay really juicy! Thanks for stopping by!
Nice looking rack of pork there. Never have done a wet brine on them - like how they turned out.
Louis at R shack BBQ I typically don’t as well, but I had that concentrated apple juice from our applesauce making and thought that would make a good brine. It turned out great! Thanks for commenting!
You did it twice and looks great. How about a third on my Weber silver B gas grill. Up to the challenge? We could make a MQ out of it.
Bud-man GR Challenge accepted! LOL Costco will soon have these and I will pick one up and be ready for the MQ! I already know how I would try this on the Weber Silver!
DANGGG,, looks great!
Ba Bill The Rack of pork is awesome! I will send some pictures of the 2 racks I cook today! LOL
It looks amazing. I’ve got mine bringing right now. About how long was the cook?
Sidney Jones These typically take me 1 1/2 to 2 hours, depending on the size and what temps you use. Let me know how it turns out. I think this cut of pork is fantastic!
Thank you sir. That’s what I was shooting for I’ll cook tonight and let you know. Thanks again.
Sidney Jones Sounds good! I mentioned it in the video, but we cooked ours to 145 degrees. Good Luck!
Where did you pick up that slow and sear?
armoose88 You can pick them up at amazon, but I got it direct from Adrenaline Barbecue Co. They are now called SNS Grills. snsgrills.com They actually have 10% off right now, I just got an email about it. Thanks for watching!
Yeah this is just good. Recently just did baby backs on my channel for our American friends!
DoubleTap RangerOutdoors This cut is great, I like the rack of pork better than a regular chop. I will have to check out your baby backs! Thanks for stopping by!
Love and I am going to do one just like that my only problem I don't have the rack you use for the charcoal but I'll figure it out
God bless you and your family and please be careful with this virus
Juan Gutierrez Thank you for the blessing and well wishes. We wish you the same! If you can bank the charcoal to one side, you should be fine. These turn out great! Let me know how yours turns out! Stay Safe!
Nice rack 😂 but seriously, perfectly cooked. Love the brine
Dad Incredible: BBQ, Beer & More LOL! Thanks Todd! We just made applesauce again, so I have 2 more containers to make more brine. These will be in Costco very soon and I will stock up again! Have a great Thanksgiving!
