- After more than 20 years of legal battles, the government has regained control of the abandoned Philippine Village Hotel beside the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Rappler reporter Lance Spencer Yu gives a recap of the eviction process and the future of the property.

We used to stay at the philippine village hotel back at the 80's..i was 11 years old back then...my swedish stepfather love the philippines.
His two favorite hotels ate midtown hotel and this one.
Both my mom and my stepfather died 10 years ago in brooklyn new york.
They always want to come back here but due to illness and old age they were not unable to.i miss them so much

Best to expand our NAIA 2 to this area. On my professional opinion, i would remove the pair cargo and build a new cargo building in the said hotel. The new cargo building will be a multi storey building. These multi storey cargo building are the same as those that can be found in Japan and HKG. In place of the cargo building, a new expanded and integrated NAIA 1 and 2 can be made. This will make our airport much better.
Honestly NAIA Terminals 1 and 2 have a lot of usable spaces in its vicinity, as well as expandable areas such as neighboring small commercial spaces and residential houses. Terminal 1 and 2 can easily be connected as well.

Siguro Kung halimbawa eh MATIBAY pa Yung structure Ng HOTEL mismo, Pwede gawin ipa renovate Ng NAIA, tapos pagandahin Yung hotel at SILA Yung operate and manage para Yung mga PASAHERO halimbawa na may mga MATATAGAL na waiting hour connecting flights or may mga flight na late hours Yung alis eh pwede dyan na mag stay para Hindi SILA nagmamadali Ng Maaga para pumunta Ng airport to check in.

this should be extended and become part of Naia pra mai extend and existing terminals closer to each other as well as the terminalnfor subway. sleeping properties like this should be seized and be converted for public use.

Nakapag OJT pa ako dyan way back 2000 for 3 months. Nung time ko dyan...oo, wala na masyado guest. luma na ang facilities at umaalis na ang karamihan ng mga empleyado.
