This is what I always requested for my beloved late wife to fix as my birthday meal. She did it SO perfectly. Lord, I miss her so.
Good journey to your wife. Peace and comfort for you!
Sorry for your loss.
It is also one of my very favourites. My best friend would spoil us in school and make beef stroganoff along with the best Ceasar salad and garlic bread....just thinking about it makes my mouth water she was always such a master chef.
I'm very sorry about the loss of your wife, however I'm happy to hear of your memories that keep you smiling even though it can be difficult.
Take good care of yourself, and be safe.
I’m sorry for your loss. What a beautiful memory you have of your wife making this dish for you! Peace and comfort my friend.
Wrestling must be big in their country. They always reference wrestlers when eating beef or something hearty! Thumbs up! Please keep the videos coming!
Mushrooms love cream. Noodles love cream. Beef loves mushrooms, and onions. Everything loves black pepper. What's not to love about this dish? One of the world's great comfort foods.😋
So poetic. So true.
Brilliantly said!

Don't forget the Worcestershire sauce!

I always love how Tahir always asks if they want a bite/taste. So sweet.
oh, i thought he was offering to us, the viewers .
A couple times in past videos they actually accepted his offer of a bite * 😆
@@Yeehaw019 Did they? I must have missed those videos.
Prayers for Pakistan. Love watching you all trying different foods
I could eat a whole mess of beef stroganoff right now! OMG you have no idea! Glad they liked it ☺️
Admiring the things other takes for granted. I make Beef Stroganoff often, and I never crossed my mind it might be seen as something special by other groups. The smaller things in life is grand for others.
Hamburger Helper doesn't count. Lol. J.k. 🤣. But you are so correct. We take a lot for granted.
I’d imagine some of what they eat would be considered special for you too.
That's the inspiration and simple joy this channel brings, all people are brought together by food :)
It's wonderful when they find new ideas from things they are able to get locally.
These guys make about and maybe 200 rupee a day. A burger is probably 500 or 600 rupee over there.
These men are real gentlemen. Love their reactions to different dishes
Dr. Tahir is such a sweetheart, always offering the first bite of everything he tries . He can sound like he's talking nonsense but as he go's on he comes up with little pearls of wisdom often rapped in humor. I feel as if I'm getting to know them and I hope others around the world will take time to explore this channel . You can learn a lot from these kind souls .
He offers true hospitality to all! Love this about him. And of course, his humor.
His medical knowledge is a bit iffy though!

Well made beef stroganoff is comfort food at its finest.😋
Likewise tuna or chicken casserole. Delicious comfort food. Not sure why everyone hates on it so much, rhetorically/ironically?
@@MGmirkin Don't look at me, I've loved casseroles since I was a little kid!
We often have it after the holidays if we've had tenderloin, as trimming the tenderloin leaves a lot of small pieces of very expensive meat.
Your ought to show them a video of different pastas being made. I absolutely love this channel!!

My mom makes beef stroganoff sometimes and I love it. These gentlemen are also very kind, thoughtful and amusing ❤
Fist time I ever heard of beef stroganoff was from a TV show. Artemus Gordon mentions the dish in an episode of Wild Wild West. My mom made it for me after I saw the show. It was so good.
What a great Mom!
Mom 💐
👵🥇❤
In Brazil strogonoff is totally different from this version, same applies for the russian dish (the original one)
But when Artemus Gordon makes beef stroganoff, it’s disguised as chicken parmesan, it speaks with a thick Italian accent, and there’s a grappling hook hidden inside. Because that’s how Artemus do.
Growing up in America, this dish is usually served with egg noodles. But I've been to Russia, and it almost always comes with mashed potatoes, and a side of pickles. It is very much a cold weather dish. Don;t think I ever saw noodles. But the noodles are a good companion to the sauce, so it makes some sense. Still, by far the best Stroganoff I ever had was in Russia, for sure.
Interesting little comment buried away :) My dad's in-flight breakfast once on Aeroflot was ramen. In the package.
That's why this dish isn't a Russian dish
@@nobrainsnoheadache2434 UGH I hate Aeroflot. Never again.
@@IndigenousIndianLady65 It is. It comes from 19th century Russia. I mean even wikipedia knows it
Yeah, americans fuck up everything they touch. Their taste for food is sub-par, without the doubt American food culture is the worst in the world.
I remember when they tried Cream of Mushroom Soup and Raffique begged them to take it away because it made him feel sick. He has certainly broadened his palate.
To be fair, cream of mushroom soup is gross. lol 😅 I love Beef Stroganoff though. There's an Eastern European restaurant down the street from me and it's my favorite dish there!
Yes. Canned condensed cream of mushroom is nasty…but homemade or Hungarian mushroom soup? Heaven

Это правда, блюдо мы любим особенно при наступлении первых холодов. Едим бефстроганов обычно с картофельным пюре, но можно и с макаронами; главное с душой.
Смотрю уже как год вас, спасибо за настроение! Да поможет всем нам Бог!
My favorite too!!!
I had to translate this to Russian using Google Translate.
I live in England, Britain, and I’ve always had it with spaghetti or pasta. However, Beef Stroganoff is a Russian dish, so I will make it with mashed potatoes. It also makes sense, as potatoes are packed with calories and so better for the colder weather. I also think that I will enjoy it more with mashed potatoes.
Thank you for the information.
I grew up eating beef stroganoff and never knew it was a Russian dish. It only took me 42 years to find out 🤣
@@WoosterCogburnn 52 year old here. My mother knew two dishes to cook when I was growing up, Taco Bell and Beef Stroganoff. Never knew its was Russian dish either.😆
Amen!
There's a rarity of innocence that I like about this.
Stroganoff is a favorite of mine during the Winter months. Nice and hearty for when it's freezing outside.
I love a little splash of white vinegar on top of it as well. That's something I picked up from one of my uncles when I was little.
Have you tried adding in some pickled beets?
White vinegar? Wow! That sounds interesting. I may try that one day (if I ever eat pasta again).
My father taught me to put a splash of vinegar on cooked spinach. Yum 😋
Try lemon juice🤤😋
@@fairladyZ64 vinegar and hot sauce are great on all dark leafy greens
Stroganoff is named after a Russian family. I love it because I love the taste of sour cream that's in it. There is a sister dish called Salmon Romanoff (another Russian family name)
Named after a Russian General with the last name of stroganoff
Do you have a favorite recipe? 😊
@@marjolewis9405 not just a general but a governor and a count from centuries old noble family. There's like several dozens Stroganovs in the Russian history staring in 15 century, and all were some generals, counts, barons, high merchants and other high society ranks.
I always love the suspense when, regardless of whether loves the food or hates it, Chaudhary looks at the camera with a face that screams "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY TASTE BUDS???"
Poor Sir has said he does not like eating his regular food much anymore. I love Indo-Pak food.
I love seeing new vids from Tribal People Try pop up in my feed! With so much negativity in this world, it's wonderful to experience joy, watching others experience joy. Thanks y'all love the channel ♥️
I grew up eating this beloved comfort food 🥰🌺 Watching their reactions to something so close to my heart made me smile. Definitely going out and making it tonight. My mom came from a tiny farming village in Ireland and she used to tell me to be grateful for the abundance here And don't take it for granted like this generation does. So many places in the world have little. These are my favorite group of people 🥰🎧 How can I not smile seeing their wholesome reactions.
I think Mr. Rana is a romantic at heart. Hearing him share thoughts of snow outside, sitting at a window watching it while enjoying wonderful beef stroganoff- I can just picture that scene but with his granddaughter on his lap sharing the view, the meal, and the love. ❤
My mom made this often as I was growing up. I hated it! I didn't realize until I was in my 20s that I loved it. I just hated my mom's. Lol It resembled vomit. She used ground beef, no mushrooms, put sage in it that it was green/grey and served it over rice. I hated rice as a kid. She started making a small bowl of noodles for me to get me to eat it. It was so gross 🤢🤮 I would gag. When I was in my 20s, my sister-in-law brought some over. I thought Oh no, I have to be polite and eat it with a smile. It was wonderful!!!! I make it for my family regularly now ☺️
Aww. Hope ur mom got to try ur sister in laws version.
My 73-year-old grandma on my father’s side orders beef stroganoff whenever she goes to Noodles & Company and she loves it.
"Enriched with power". Right on!
Stroganoff is soo good 🥰 a good winter meal, beef, mushroom, onion, pasta, creamy... very filling.
If you substitute the beef for chicken, it is still just as good 🤙
We put some peas and carrots in ours. 👍🙂
@@cleekmaker00 Peas is a great addition, I do that myself on random occasion. I havent tried Carrot but I will next time with tiny diced carrot pieces, that's a good addition, I like that idea.
@John Fischer You can not ban this awesomeness 🤣 I will put chicken in the Stroganoff. You can't stop this.
I still would like to see a video where you introduce the gentleman to as many of the 350 or so types of pasta so they can see the many varied shapes as well as those that are multicolored from the addition of spinach and tomato etc to the pasta. I think they'd be amazed at the vast variety.
I haven’t had this in years my Mom bless her soul would make it when I was a child with wide egg noodles it was delicious.
One of many reasons I love America you can find all kinds of food and cultures.
That's what America is supposed to be, a melting pot. Unfortunately, it's more like a tossed salad lol. We are in here together but you can definitely see separation.
I can't stop watching these!!!!
I would love to see the food being prepared as well!
I love these chaps. Regrettably, they were served Stroganoff containing a tough cut of beef, when it normally includes medium-rare fillet.
I thought they were given jerky for a moment. 😂
They served it over rotini as well. It should be served over egg noodles or mashed potatoes, never pasta. They ate beef with mushrooms in some sort of white sauce over pasta. They were not served beef stroganoff.
These men are gems….
Gul's dressed to kill today and that turban is so cool ! And he never gets a spot on his clothes, even the tassel gets close to getting dipped into the food but it never happens .
It was one of my favorite school lunches growing up in Florida. They usually pared it with beats or picked beets. Too bad nobody makes it anymore.
So, they dropped some sick beats with your Stroganoff lunch? ;)
Was it "Kalinka"? Or maybe "Korobeiniki"? "Katyusha"?
A hearty meal. They're sure to love it 💞💞
I love stroganoff so much. Great comfort food on a cold day!
Wow,TPR served what I suggested!!😀
I love watching you guys ! You all! are constantly amazed at our country's food and dishes but let me tell you a secret. American citizens and their forefathers came to our shores from every country on the face of the earth. Each brought with them their national recipes which when broken down , regionally, locally and finally their families' home dishes. We are a huge nation that borders two oceans and a large Gulf of Mexico. We've been very blessed from sea to shining sea and when it all comes down to the simple fact that Americans believe that it all begins at the hearth of our homes loving God, our family and neighbors.
it contain a... WASHROOM... 🤣🤣🤣 Gul you are the best
Strogonoff is Russian and uses Sour Cream as base for Gravy.
One of my favorite comfort meals. Can be served over anything you choose. There maybe a classic preparation, most change it to fit their taste. Great job representing the dish.👏👏❤️🤍💙
For an easy Stroganoff recipe for those on the go. Get a roast. Put in slow cooker with can of cream of mushroom soup, and Packet of dried onion soup. You may add sliced fresh mushrooms also. If you are busy in the morning, make the night before and place in fridge. In the morning, put on crockpot heat and let cook all day. When you get home you can prepare your egg noodles. Pull your roast out and shred it with forks. When it is shredded up, throw back in crock pot. Toss in some sour cream. Make sure there is enough sour cream. When done your noodles should be ready. Drain your noodles. Place noodles on plate and add as much meat sauce as you like. I also like to top with shredded parmesan. When done, make sure you have plenty of noodles and mix them with meat sauce. This you can refrigerate and eat as wanted, just microwave it. It will be great for lunch or a second meal. Enjoy.
For an easy Stroganoff recipe for those on the go. Buy Hamburger Helper Beef Strogonoff and some ground beef. Follow directions on package.
The gentleman with the blue shirt, and the black headscarf…could pass exactly for a Portuguese fisherman! That’s a compliment!
I am glad they liked this dish. However...stroganoff is best served with wide, flat noddles. And the beef should just melt in your mouth - like the beef in beef stew. Sigh. We really need to get a Western cook for these dishes in there to let them get a real taste of the dish. I am totally in love with this channel. Found it Monday - and am binging on it. Such a fabulous, feel-good experience. And I wait until the very end of each episode to receive the blessing. Thank you to everyone involved. You are spreading such joy!!! Cheers from an American ex-pat living in Germany. May you all be blessed.
These gentlemen show remarkably polite restraint when trying these dishes. I would divebomb that plate.
Bless our TPT friends for trying and enjoying new dishes, and of course the TPT cooks for preparing them! I truly love watching their experiences .... but does any one else get stressed that the dishes are getting terribly cold while they chat??!!! Cold noodles and other dishes just aren't the same at all! I do understand the necessity for the channel to have the friends discuss the food in advance ... but it must get so cold! Thanks to everyone regardless - great show.😍
I would have to say that these gentlemen are eating a more varied palate than anyone on the planet! From every origin and culinary genre, they are trying things for the first time that most of us take for granted. But most of us also eat the same rotation of foods because they are readily available and have become our "favorites". How many times have we watched them try a totally foreign dish and we mutter to ourselves "oh, yeah, I have that all the time". These guys, 90% of this is all new, and they obviously love the whole experience.
Mr. Rana' picturesque imagination is lovely. I'm right there with him.
We always make it with egg noodles, never seen it with spiral pasta.
I have a great idea try Swedish meatballs 💜 mmm...YUMMY 👏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽
Thank you for kind words! Greetings from Novorossiysk, Russia!❤
This is mostly eaten by wrestlers....I love it.
Another great reaction from these very nice men. God bless them and their families.
So good to see my favourite four Tribal people enjoying this classic beef dish.
Any beef stroganoff I have ever had was good. Also, the beef was in smaller pieces and cooked till fall apart tender before adding the pasta and the sauce. It was also seasoned with salt and pepper. I got the impression the beef they were trying was a little tough. If so, not a particulary impressive dish for them. They are so polite, but you can almost always tell when they are just not into a dish, (no matter how polite they are), they are not constantly tasting and commenting while taking little bites and leaving most of it on the plate. A good food test if the beef was tender.
No egg noodles? I guess the stroganoff I had when I was a kid was Hungarian...it always had egg noodles in it. It also had a thick, heavy gravy...lots of it...that had lots of onion and mustard, so it was very flavorful if not spicy. I'd love to see a video of the production team telling us about how they choose the recipes and how they source the ingredients!
They may not have had egg noodles available so they improvised on the (pasta) noodles lol! A lot of thing's we take for granted are not easily available or affordable in Pakistan. May God bless you!
The original Russian dish was usually served over a kind of dumpling, similar to a German spaetzle. The dough is very close to a pasta or noodle dough and is cooked in boiling water or broth.
I'm sure when the dish gained popularity over the years and around the world, dried egg noodles were probably the closest and most convenient substitute. The Russians also serve it over potatoes, so I suppose just like all of us, they use whatever they happen to like and/or have in abundance at the time they're making it! ☺️
I hope someone has thoroughly explained to them that the mushrooms they see growing outside may not be safe for consumption.
I thought that too.
I'm sure they know.
@@rianamohamed300 I wouldn't be so sure as to just assume though. He did say, "I didn't know we could eat them too."

I've never seen beef Stroganoof served with noodles.
I've always had Stroganoff with mashed potatoes.
I DO know, that in eastern europe You will most likely get it served with knödeln, which are a kind of dumplings.
Try Russian Borscht soup its wonderful very healthy 💜👏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽
I don't think they cooked the meat long enough, it looked tough to bit through, but I'm happy they liked the meal.
Since cooler weather is approaching maybe try white bean chicken chili with cheese and corn bread.

How about a pasta tutorial series?
For each video, show them a video of one national pasta tradition. All the pasta forms of Italy, explaining common sauces and side dishes.
Then China in the same way. Indonesia. Japan.
There are even Greek noodles - they look like rice.
There are noodles made of potatoes: Italian gnocchi and German Schupfnudeln.
Dumplings use pasta dough as well: Jiaozi, pelmeni, ravioli, Maultaschen etc.
After reacting to the information in the videos, you can let them vote which pasta dish they get to try in the next video.
I recommend Italian black sepia pasta with shrimps and cherry tomatoes, fried in olive oil with a little bit of balsamic vinegar. Or Southeast Asian glass noodles with vegetables and chicken. Or Maultaschen - they'll love those. It's a lump of meat with some spices and vegetable pieces inside a giant ravioli, cooked in broth. They were originally only eaten during the Catholic lent, when meat was forbidden for 40 days. But the Suabians, who created them, thought, that God couldn't see them eating meat, if they hid it in a pasta dough husk.
They're so fun to watch
I wish I had the money to Host them in the US. I would instantly take them to a full Korean BBQ. Then to a great Deli like Katz's, for a Pastrami sandwich, pickles, and a bowl of kreplach soup. Then we go to a Broadway Musical, and afterwards, at 2AM, to a traditional diner for a pre-dawn American breakfast: (coffee with cream & sugar, a toasted buttered pecan roll, followed by poached eggs on corned beef hash with catsup, plus hash-browns, turkey bacon, and pancakes with syrup). Then we watch the sunrise off of Coney Island, take a few exciting rides, eat a Nathan's Hot Dog, and head off on a top-tier train to Chicago for Pizzeria Uno's Deep Dish extra-cheese & vegie, then Al's Italian Beef, followed by Gyros in Greektown, and an afternoon in the Indian/Pakistani neighborhood on Devon Ave. eating buffets and sweets and shootin' the shit with locals. Then it's off to LA for Disneyland, and a dozen more restaurants. I'm psyched.
