I haven't watched tv for over 10 years now, but you guys should have a tv series much more interesting than any on tv! Si, you and your buddies have really inspired me. I have a genetic condition, hEDS and other chronic illnesses, so get things get boring. When I can't sit and play my guitar or read my favourite book, or I just need distraction from pain I now have you guys to watch! You really make us feel part of the action and all the behind the scene stuff is fun to learn about. Ever since I was about 7/8 years old and scoped up a skinny stone that had been carved to look like a sea lion, out of the crabbing pool at Broadstairs; I have been so intrigued about the lost treasures of the past. Thank you again for sharing. God bless

You have the coolest finds over there in England. Never heard of a bottle dump until I started watching Si. Wonderful to 'be with' like minded souls, your wonderful friends, Terry, Flo, Anna and the many others, who have a great love and respect for history, and what was left so much behind. Don't you wonder why the WWI helmet was thrown out? No family member or relative to treasure save and treasure it? Everything looks so impressive and important when clean and buffed! Thank you Simon for your much appreciated videos!

What I appreciate most about what you and your friends do, Simon, is not only your tenacity and single-mindedness to make some great finds, but your creativity and ingenuity in re-purposing them. You are all to be admired! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us, Simon!

Arsenic wallpaper can be dangerous to inhale and rubs off your hands to help possible poisoning. Very flammable too. Si you make your friends so happy with your generosity of sharing finds. Til the next adventure, blessings.

When I retire, I'm taking a months vacation, flying to London, getting a permit, and going mudlarking on the Thames foreshore. Its number one on my bucket list. The thought keeps me going. See you guys in five years!

I watched this last week and when Terry found the doughboy helmet I said ‘I wish I could find a doughboy helmet.’ Yesterday, I was driving in Greenville, South Carolina and saw a WWI doughboy helmet on the sidewalk of an overpass in the middle of town. I stopped and dodged traffic and got to it and found that it was indeed a WWI doughboy helmet with part of the original oilskin liner still attached. How it came to be on an overpass in the middle of a city is a mystery. I think I may have two more wishes coming, however.

Fantastic dig today. One of the best groups of bottles I have seen at one time. The little poisons, the stoneware, the fragile wine bottles....just awesome. Mmmmm....and how about some tasty "Bloater Paste".......nice jar.....skip the paste....lol Thanks to you and your fellow diggers, for sharing your day with us. I loved it!

This place never disappoints! It will be empty soon with all the larks cleaning out the goods! HA HA. But still some very special finds! Glenbrook Connecticut. I like the blue and white tea pot! And I'm like Terry, I like the Stoneware gin bottles. They look like my German Bier Mugs. Chianti bottles! The old ones from Italy have the round bottom! So cool. Egyptian pillar is so pretty! You can tell Flo that I am a Magpie as well. Love shinny! The female with the holes at the bottom, is to be a pincushion top, French and it would be velvet fabric and hold hat pins. Flo did a spectacular job of framing the wallpaper scraps! Too pretty!

Take care Simon! The way you hack away at the dirt wall of the dump makes me fearful that someone will be digging you up - and you won't be preserved as well as your bottles and relics!! Everyone had extraordinary finds, though I was skeptical when Flo said she wanted to frame that brittle old wallpaper, she turned it into a lovely piece of art!

What a great day with great finds and a almost burial, ACTION SHOTS and you really know how to keep your fans watching. As a dump rooter myself, at least in the past, I loved every minuet! One has to really search for dumps or old out houses to find anything decent here anymore. Dumps have been dozed over to prevent hazards, so they say and are very few if any dumps that haven't been dug in this area. I believed I mentioned that a good way back I found four rare Lancaster Pa. Beer bottles that I sold years later and got $865, one selling for $525. I used this money to pay for wood to build my 10'x28' deck off my second floor here in the woods. Loved the bottles but the deck more. I had just enough to pay for all materials. Thanks Kindly Si Finds! My Sunday evening would be incomplete without muck and mud! Love, Light , Peace and onion bottles filled with hammered gold coins! DaveyJO in Pa.

Hi, Sî and friends, you all did really good on your finds. Some of the bottles had different colors which really took on a shine when they were all cleaned up. The doll heads were a little creepy.? The kewpie figure is really cute. The little objects really appeal to me. Flo's half-doll was made as a handle for a tea cosy, a powder puff, or clothes brush...Check out bisque half-dolls on E Bay for the wider range of them. Some were made like a lady serving tray of hot chocolate, and used on cocoa pots as a cosy handle. They can be very costly.

Those old bottles are so beautiful, when they're cleaned up. I've always loved a beautiful bit of glass. Maybe it's in my DNA, from having glass makers on both sides of my family, Murano glass from my mom's side back in Italy and Heisey glass from my dad's side here in the U.S. Those rounded bottom wine bottles, that would have had straw on their bottoms, were my favorite of the bottles. My nan used to have a row of them, on a windowsill in her cellar. I also really liked Flo's little pewter shoe. It looks like the type my great-grandmother used to wear. Thanks, for another great video and one that brought back those memories for me!

That beautiful, little, 1920's gal is what is referred to as a half doll. Her skirt may have been handmade by her owner and likely served to hold her pins. That said, half dolls also were used to adorn other implements on a lady's dressing table, as well as less lovely things, such as whisk brooms. She enjoys a good sized collector base. Such a nice thing. I do love your videos.

On Anna’s newspaper I noticed “ Horrockes’ Bed Sheets” . Horrockes Mill is the largest still standing Cotton Mill in Preston Lancashire where I live. It’s no longer in use but part of it is a hotel and Antiques centre and other businesses. In the height of the Industrial Revolution when Cotton was King Horrockes was one of the biggest employers and manufacturers in the city. They made all sorts of cotton products from bedding to dress fabrics.

The 1920's Lady is called a Half Doll. It's for making pin cushions. You make the bottom skirt, stuffed with sawdust or any kind of stuffing, and you sew the half doll on it through the holes.

9:50 She as said "trash as far as the eye can see" I was think potential treasure and adventure as far as the eye can see, I would be like a kid with free rein of a candy store, would never want to leave a place like that.

Oh how I'd love to be able to go there and find any of those bottles you just throw back! My dream to hunt for treasure there!
