I enjoy your calm demeanor and your informational content. I'm also jealous of you're having the opportunity to explore all those lovely scenic lakes. It's been my long time dream to do such an adventure. Be safe and keep up the good content!
Thanks so much for the support! I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to explore places near and far, and your right, these places have a particular beauty to them. Currently planning out the next spring paddling adventure, so stay tuned!
As was I - This trip was more difficult than I anticipated, so unfortunately, I wasn't able to do as much fishing as I would have liked. I'm hoping to do the route again and spend more fishing. Thanks for watching!
@HenryShyOutside - Yes, the terrain was fairly challenging, but it was beautiful. Someday I'd love to do a backcountry trip in your neck of the woods. Thanks so much for the subscription - I really appreciate it!
We absolutely adore this route - we just completed it in summer this year! Some of the lake names are certainly hard to remember, but the scenery is absolutely lovely. We found so many loons on the lakes around 'Christmas' and nearby lakes to be amazing. Reach out if you plan to do this route again, would recommend!
Yes - I'd love to get back and have the opportunity to stretch the trip out a bit, slow down and relax. The "back" lakes where definitely my favorite as well. Thanks for watching!
Thank you @coreymoylan1507 - Glad you liked the video! It is in fact the Algoma region in Ontario - When planning out the route, I couldn't remember the names of all the lakes, so I just ended up creating my own names, which might be the issue.
@adventurousangler3031 haha makes sense. I will have to check it out again to try to figure it out. If you are ever looking for route ideas northeast of Algoma let me know, I might be able to help!
Thanks @rj8358 - I believe it’s primarily a snowmobile trail but heard that a few people use those trails to help connect the lakes. Although most of the portages were marked, I’m actually not sure if it’s even an “official” canoe route. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Looks like rough country up there. I just bank fish and camp in lower Alabama and Northwest Florida.. Don't have a boat YET. I subscribed

Going to assume this isn't the Algoma in Ontario? I was trying really hard to trace this route on a map of that region with no luck haha. Great video!
