  • Join me for an amazing canoe trip through the Temagami Wilderness. What a perfect place to paddle and portage with the beautiful fall colours in full bloom. Canoeing, portaging, fishing and camping in one of Ontario's most amazing canoe destinations. Sounds good to me.

    I've watched a lot of camping content on UA-cam, and this is the best canoe trip video I've seen. You captured all the peaceful and beautiful sights and sounds of that landscape incredibly well. Really made me feel Iike I was there. Thanks for bringing us along!

    I am also late in having discovered your videos and I must admit that I love them whether you are alone or your partner is with you. What I appreciate alone with the beauty of the areas you paddle through is that there is no drama, I follow some who feel they need to add some drama and it takes away from the scenery, so thank you for the quality of your videos❤️❤️

    I know this video is older and I'm late to the party...I've watched it a few times now as it comes up in auto play quite often and that opening drone shot gives me goosebumps every. single. time. So freaking epic. You and Ashley really provide high quality and entertaining content. Thanks for bringing us along!

    What a beautiful place to take us to and share. So refreshing to see someone using a proper canoe paddle, the true tool for the job. I also want to thank you for focusing on the paddle parts and views of the area over just showing what you are cooking up on the fire as many do. It is ultimately the journey on the water that is the most important and being able to see all the scenery is the best part. Your pup makes me laugh and your vids warm my heart, helps to ease the sadness of this year's canoe season coming to an end. I wish you luck on your channel and look forward to what you have to come.

    Hello from Wyoming. Outstanding work . I know we get caught up in the beauty of the landscape and imaging ourselves taking a trip like this; or maybe remembering our own. It is easy to forget the hard work that it must take to bring all these images together in a way that moves us to experience it again for ourselves. Thank you for the effort. Canada should pay you to makes these.

    So well done, one of my favourites from your library. Intro, drone shots, the little sound clips before the visual of the video, all amazing. Drone landings in a canoe with a dog can get quite sketchy. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, thanks again.

    The amount of star's & the brightness of them up north in Canada just boggles my mind. You are so lucky, it's truly beautiful. We just don't get night skies like that down here in the south US where I live. You've got to be out in the wilderness, away from the city lights to really enjoy a beautiful night sky. That is why I enjoy your video's so much, you take me where I can't physically go. ❤😊

What I really like is your short summon about what you are doing (or gonna do) and your thoughts at the moment. What a great fall trip. We used to canoe a lot when young mostly in Killarney, and always took our border collie with us. She would sit and watch the world go by and especially loved the portages. Now, I only solo kayak and cannot take my current collie. To camp and have that companionship is priceless. I am glad I found your site (through a video with Tosh Self-propelled) and will enjoy watching many more, and I really like your music choices.

    What a beautiful video to watch. You definitely captured the scenery, sounds and, dare we say, the feeling of a canoe-trip. Looks like a beautiful spot to canoe and we will have to add it to our wish list.
    We just discovered your channel this morn; it will provide balm for the soul as we put up our canoes for the winter. Keep your stick on the ice and your paddle in the water! Cheers from la belle province 🇨🇦

    Hey Keenan, Truly an amazing place! Temagami has it all! Great video, admire all the hard work that goes into these! I had the pleasure of running into you and Betty-Loo in Temagami earlier in September, just before the "fun" 2-miler" near the south channel of Lady-ev. (I was the guy with the fun off-roading crocs) great to see and learn from your videos! Hope all is well- (I'm still working on all my videos from this summer's adventures lol) Big cheers to the outdoors!

    Wow! What an amazing canoe trip. And don't get me started on the perfect weather! Never seen a video of this length with nothing but great weather. Makes you miss the great outdoors even more. The one thing I was surprised at was the limited amount of wildlife. Aside from the Heron, Beaver, Loons and Bass, not much else. Well I guess you can't have Moose and Deer in every video, then it just wouldn't be special would it! Great video, keep them coming!!

      Thanks Ron. This trip spoiled me for all future trips I think (weather wise anyways). It was so beautiful the entire time. No big game animals on this trip…but as you said, if they were seen on every trip it wouldn’t be as special. Thanks very much for the comment.

Watching your video took us back to our two week trip there earlier this Sept, I kind of love that you didn't tell us where exactly you were, my partner and I kept trying to guess and it just made it that much more fun to watch! Thanks for taking us back :)

      You should check it out for sure. I would say it can be a bit more challenging than Algonquin but what a nice place to paddle. The lady Evelyn river is a must do in Ontario if you get the chance. It’s in the Temagami cluster of parks. Ive got a video on that route (I think it’s called “7 days alone” if you’re interested)and it’s one of the nicest canoe routes I’ve ever paddled anywhere. Hope you get the chance to explore it. Thanks for the comment Robert.

      Hey Doug. Ya the weather was perfect. As far as bad weather and the shelter I use thats exactly what i do. Pitch it really low and try to find a sheltered spot to camp. Sometimes I will use the canoe to stop some driving rain as well. Hope you get out there one last time this season.

    You r getting the knack for this! This is some superior editing/production. Temagami looks choice, third good vid of 3 I've watched of it. I suppose way less busy than Algonquin and Killarney? I think I need to switch to gum boots instead of hikers, I never get into the water like you, Xander, and others.

    • @CanoeTheNorth
      @CanoeTheNorth  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks very much Brent! Appreciate that comment very much. We are trying hard to make our videos as high quality as we can. As far as Temagami goes it really is n amazing place. I was lucky enough to do two trips there this summer. The first trip (video still to come) was maybe the nicest scenery of any park I've been to yet in Ontario. Definitely much less travelled then Algonquin and Killarney. This was a fairly easy trip but from what I saw on my last trip there Temagami is not easy. Some of the portages are brutal! Amazing place though. Hope you get there next summer!

    That’s a nice area but you don’t see as many moose and deer as you do in Algonquin. The fishing is very good in that area especially for Walleye. Another nice video thanks.🇨🇦👍

    • @CanoeTheNorth
      @CanoeTheNorth  2 роки тому +1

      You are right about the moose. I’m not 100% sure why. Maybe the hunting in the crown land around temagami or the habitat isn’t as great as Algonquin.

      @@CanoeTheNorth I’ve noticed that even on the north shore of lake Superior were I lived for 10 years there wasn’t as many moose siting as Algonquin Park. I remember when I was just a kid going to Algonquin with my family you never saw moose just deer and lots of them . Now it’s the other way around . Things have really changed in the Park.
