Every bad thing that happened to me, DD's music was there to console me. My entire teen years and every second of my adult life, DD has been there, the music alive in my mind, my heart, my soul. On my deathbed (may that be another 40 years down the road), I'll be listening to DD. They will send me into the next phase of existence. My son has strict rules to follow for that. I love this band, they have always, still do, and will always mean more than I could ever hope to put into worlds. This version of this amazing song is proof positive that this band never loses IT, that they continue to reinvent themselves and make their music better and better. I LOVE DURAN DURAN!!! And my mom told 15 year old me that they were just a phase...lol

I hope they release Chauffeur too. I first heard Duran Duran in TV, in concert, with Simon singing “Sing Blue Silver.” It was in the 80s and I was in 8th grade, I believe. Gulp. I am still a huge fan, decade later. To me, they are my Beatles.

I bought a copy of the RIO album on cassette at a local market the year it was released not realising it was a poor pirated copy. The label said R10 rather than RIO and I had to forward wind at the end of each side before I turned it over! 🤣This is my favourite Duran Duran track of all time and I'm soooo glad they play it live still. I now have vinyl copies of all their albums and I'm happy to pay them the missed royalty fees for the cassette version if they want to reach out.
