Great job! It gave me classic horror movie chills...and the acting was on point! The little smile at the note from Dad made people feel connected. The perfect touch to a true horror movie - the connection to the audience!
@@HeathClark You're welcome! I love the classic horror movie feel of the short. There's something about a dripping faucet that always makes me nervous :)
Okay, so first of all- why does she have a VHS player? Secondly- why would you open the door at night let alone take in a random package someone left in front of your door. Thirdly- why did you run like that into your room and start DIALLING numbers when we all know numbers are stored in our phones- and who were you calling? The film totally lost its meaning there. It’s a shame because the cinematography was brilliant and the beginning really felt like it was going to be a really good movie. Oh well. Good try anyway
Hey, I appreciate the constructive feedback! We had a tight timeframe once we decided to join the competition and didn’t iron out all the details! Definitely use it for next time 🤜🏻🤛🏻
@@HeathClark No worries I hope my comment wasn’t too aggressive. I’ve watched thousands of these horror shorts- I’m a massive fan of the genre-so if I can give you advice as a viewer- everything is in the detail. We look out for that stuff. And it’s good to have some structure as in beginning- middle -end. This felt a bit all over the place. Also I didn’t quite understand what the water theme was about? You know the quality of the filming was absolutely on point. It just lacked substance and didn’t make sense and didn’t going anywhere- as in what happened to her and why and who did it etc etc. You got skills and knowledge just add the rest of the ingredients and you got a great horror movie! I look forward to seeing your next one!
Why is it that in horror movies, they always show a random teenage girl living alone in a big house with 10 rooms and a creepy basement, located in a remote neighborhood with no neighbors? And why does she stupidly open the door in the middle of the night and take whatever is placed in front of it?
@max-greg oh man, this thing is FULL of plot holes and “things that don’t make sense”! We are just a couple friends shooting and film to have some fun! I will say, we have some exciting things in the works for a future short film that has went through rigorous pre production to ensure we have a cohesive story. Appreciate your insight man, hope you stick around for the next one! 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Who has a VCR?
VCR people, usually.
I borrowed this one from Mr Plot! 🤣
First line triggered my Google Assist and minimized the video.
lol I didn’t even think about it until I watched it on my tv and mine did the same thing lol
Pretty good until the girl ran to her room instead of out of the house. Other than that, great job! ❤
Appreciate it man! Yeah, a few plot holes but we were working with a tight timeline. Thanks!
Can someone tell me whats the name of the song at the end?
