Not so much mail this week, but definitely quality rather than quantity. Love the dog postcard from Jilly Bee and Merja always sends such great postcards. Glad that my contributions were able to bulk the video out a little. Enjoy your long weekend. I hope the weather turns out nice for you.

I love the dog maxi-card from Jilly Bee, dogs are just such special companions! Stephen is so generous and a whole cornucopia of mail from him with such interesting content. I look forward to hearing his poems. He does so many things. Thanks for the video and sharing, Rob. Always interesting to watch.

A lot of mail as usual. What stood out were the dog related items. I'm fond of dogs, as much as cats. That said, today our philatelic bureau was open for three hours (an hour extra) for the International Asteroid Day cancellation. Look forward to my card sooner than later.

As always, great post! Yes, Rob, all I sent you were stickers. The windows are stickers too. You can use the wide ribbon completely or cut out the necessary elements and stick them on like stickers. I used them on the envelope and the card :)

In regards to the Ranunculus coil stamp, it is possible it could be a fake as there are counterfeit stamps from China turning up. Also there are counterfeits of the 2021 From Far and Wide coils, the Christmas 2021 souvenir sheet, the 2022 Endangered Whales souvenir sheet, and the 2022 Christmas souvenir sheet. There's an excellent article in the latest Canadian Stamp News magazine , July 2-5/24 vol. 49 no. 06. If you have the chance it's a very interesting read

Oh I know there can be a real problem with counterfeit stamps and they are hard to tell. I was just curious to know why these were suspected stamps.
