    had a few people ask about this, so here you go..here is how to import waves into your NUX via USB. your waves MUST be 16bit 44khz . or it will not work ok....happy looping.
    see my other NUX LOOPCORE VIDS. for features and ''optional'' control footswitch.

    Note for those who bought a NUX Loop Core "Deluxe": that one needs 24-bit/44.1KHz files! When exporting from Audacity (File> Export> Export as WAV), there is no immediate "Save as type: WAV signed 24-bit PCM". Choose instead "Save as type: Other uncompressed files", and in the next dialog box, under "format options" you can choose "Encoding: Signed 24-bit PCM". Et voilà. Other restrictions mentioned below apply; clear the metadata of the file in the next dialog box (track name, author etc.) by using the Clear button, and name the file correctly. The top folder on the Deluxe is aptly called "Looper24", to remind you of the 24 bit requirements (I'm guessing here :).
    Maybe a tip for all users: to easily check if you have a WAV file in the right format, right click on the file> properties, select the "details" tab, and check the "Bit rate". This should be 1441kbps for a 16 bit file, and 2116kbps for a 24 bit file. For those more curious, the kbps formula is: sample rate(44100) x bit depth(16 or 24) x 2 (for stereo).

    top tip: when loading up lots of loops, ''normalize'' them all to the same level....saves turning up/down between backing tracks etc... ;)

    Thanks for the video, it's crazy to me that Nu-X didn't include these instructions in their manual for this pedal. I would have never figured that out, especially to name the files the same as the folder. There aren't even any "demo" loops that would lead a person to try that.. Wondering how you learned this?

      I agree with the comment about NUX not including that in the mini manual (I am using a JTC Pro). Listen NUX ... r u listening? ... if u wanna take on the big boys (and you have some good kit) let's get the info better in the first place.

    Hi All from Downunder. Yes, I downloaded 25 loops from my computer to Loop Core and had to re-name all the files to the capital "W" dot wav format, as Ron JR described. Then realised that four of the files were 1536 kbps, not 1411 kbps as the remainder were. Converted those 4 to 44.1 using a free software called "DVD Video soft" from DVDVIDEOSOFT.COM. All working fine.

    GARAGEBAND USERS! Just a heads up, Garage Band now outputs to Wav. files natively, however this pedal does not like them for some reason! You need to take your 16-bit file and put it into Audacity, export it as a 16-bit/44 wav file from there, and then it will work!

    • @michaeldvogtman
      @michaeldvogtman 7 років тому +1

      Also, make sure to hit CLEAR on the artist info window in audacity. These can't have any metadata. This pedal is so picky! :p It's also a wonderful deal for 6 hours of recording time without the need for an SD card! It's one of the best pedals for people who want to pre-load backing tracks into their setup.

    • @100roberthenry
      @100roberthenry  6 років тому

      Federico Larroca , hi, hmmmm....im not sure but i think the tempo will only be recognised by recording on the nux, rather than importing wav files.... for example, i recorded a verse, then i copied that verse to another number, then cleared the audio on the copy and this kept the tempo the same so i could record a chorus on the copy....that works and seamlessly, but yeah, not sure how it would ca4ch the tempo of an imported wav though....

      See my post above from about a year ago for the "DELUXE" version. Various options for WAV export settings in Audacity are available under "Other uncompressed files". But for the regular NUX, the standard WAV export should work? Since it just needs the default 44100 bps, 16 bit, stereo. Just renaming files generally does not do anything, you should right click the file and check in details what the exact properties of the .wav file are.

      With Audacity ; at least the first time you download it- imports that you use will be saved at stereo 48000 regardless if you
      click Edit > Preferences> Quality : It will save it as 1538 bit rate ( which isn't compactible with the Loop Core)
      Easy fix to get it to the 1411 bit rate to run on the Loop Core
      Once you have the track in Audacity;
      Left box of the wave length of the sample that you imported into Audacity
      Click on (Downwards point triangle) > Select Rate to 41000 and that will make it ready for importing.

      Yes i did with Audacity and renamed the files as you said with the capital W.I can see it transfer the file to the core pedal but my leds are not blinking as yours .just only one.

      @@100roberthenry I've had this trouble too, some simply won't work. I feel there's bad quality control in production as I've taken 2 loop cores and imported the exact same files into them. One of them worked and the wouldn't blink or recognise the loops as nando krafft suggested.
