my first r rated movie was ‘black hawk down’ i was like 15, utah raised, bred all that. my uncle took me cause he knew i wanted to join the army, ill always remember right before we went in (i didnt know what we we seeing) he said ‘if you dont like Clinton now, youll hate him after’ didn’t make the connections for a few years. still one of my favorite movies, Clinton was whatever, still joined the army and fucked around in iraq 07-08, one of the defining memories of my life.
Damn they stopped the game system rentals when I was a kid in the early 00s, I remember my older half brother trying to get a console rental and found out they had stopped a few months ago

Fun uncle is who you call when you're at a high school party and there's no parents so there's plenty of beer being passed around and your pretty sloshed, you don't want your parents to find out or they'll kill you for drinking at 16. He'll come pick you up and not tell your parents as long as you promise to never do it again or make sure you call him first if you do, just in case.... My husband was that uncle for my niece & nephew. Thank god this only happened twice!
Lol I'm 16 and one of my uncles would probably let me drink with him while fishing and the other would let me take a sip and say "see it's bad don't drink" but they both live a ways away so I can't do this and I just buy an Uber or get a friend to drive
As an Uncle: It's also fun to teach them basic commands at the age of 2-4. Like sit, roll over. Come, stay. Go get me a drink. Cookies are a good incentive.

Never had the 'fun' Aunt or Uncle but since I was born 10-13 years after my ALL my siblings and cousins, I was blessed to have one fun Cousin. My Cousin Anne, knowing I was miserable after my fam moved from the area I had been raised in....use to take me -everywhere- with her. She was amazing and wonderful and fun. Meant a lot to me because....I was in a new place/school that I really didn't dig. I was bullied quite a bit. It was just awful for me all 'round. But, I had this cool older cousin that would take me out with her in her CAR (I was like 12 so...I was totally 'cool' for knowing someone with their own ride heh) just to get some food or drive around and jam to music. Most of all, she genuinely liked being around me. Good times. I have to call her, remind her how amazing she is
Chewing tobacco, beer and a joint. These were the provisions for a beach trip provided to me at 13 by my uncle. He did get me a coca cola after I got queezy from the tobacco.
I'm an uncle.. except my nephew lives 2,100 miles across the country lol. Good thing that! My mom's been out to visit a few times, and that's one poorly mannered kid.😅 Maybe one of these days when he's a bit older I'll pop in. Should be getting old enough to start Pre-K, Preschool soon.
I was the “Fun Auntie” until security got called to our hotel room & couldn’t be heard over the noise my nephews were making & I was trying to hold noise levels down. I was NEVER allowed to watch my nephews again. My nephew ratted me out the next morning in the hotel lobby over breakfast. My brother GLARED in SILENCE at me & I knew I was dead. 😂😂😂
