Sorry this is not true. im a singaporean here who lived my whole life here and can tell you that our country is great in so many things but not our people. our people are selfish, entitled and far from gracious. big difference compared to countries like thailand and japan
you correctly pointed out that our country might seem authoritarian - the result is a people with no identity and character. We do things because we have to, not because we want to. We are good to people and the environment because we HAVE to: We dont litter because of the law, not because we are environmentally conscious. We give up seats to the elderly in the train not bccause we care for them, but because the seat has a sticker label that forces us to do so

No Switzerland and Canada on this list... huh okay :D
@@KGK997 Canada has wayy more haters than you think.
Well,Japan may be good now...as far as i know the Japanese were so malevolent during,if I'm not wrong,WW2.Have you...ever come across their histories on how the way they treat their POWs and on how they looted their neighbouring countries, and I don't know the exact reason but there's a lot of Mentally Challenge Serial Killers that are freely roaming in the country 😥😥😥.It kind of make me sweat by just thinking about it.Anyway,I still have the COURAGE to say I LOVE all the countries of this World, created by whomever you believe in 😌🥰😇 because it's AMAZING 🙏.
"Haters" by who's definition? Listen, you're in the geography business, not opinion business. Your definition of haters might be different than my definition. So, this alone, is political and divisive.
when comparing japan and singapore, you mentioned both countries' people are respectful towards others.
We give up seats to the elderly in the train not bccause we care for them, but because the seat has a sticker label that forces us to do so
Canada doesn't have a lot of haters (except Canadians).
Weird one but I think Croatia would be one of their haters seeing they went to war as Canada was in support for Bosnia during the latter Yugoslavian wars.
Ireland stands with Palestine
Does anybody hate Sealand?
As a Jew, Ireland doesn't really have a good reputation for me
@mysteriousDSF not even slightly true
With the governments, sure.
@@mysteriousDSF god forbid a western country awknoledge whats happening in palestine
@pewialmostdie3631 you believe what you want to believe.
This from one of the so-called 'chosen people' who are behaving like the Master Race.
I've been to BHutan - went 5 years ago and it was fantastic! Hiking up to Tiger's Nest Monastery (the building built into the mountain) was one of the coolest things that I have ever done. tTe food was fine (chili cheese was a yummy dish) and the people were lovely. The flight in was a bit white knuckle, but it was worth it since we flew past Mt Everest (unexpected for me).
Staying “neutral” isn’t as admirable as yall try to make it . Ignoring genocides and wrong doings is cowardly
You forgot to mention Israel
The only country that had a good reputation is my nuts💀
Ire ire ire ireland , sounds like he's saying island ?? Which island bud ? 🇮🇪
I most def heard island da whole time
israel
I don't think there is a country on earth that likes Japan or South Korea
China...
North Korea...
Eachother...
What? Every country looks up to South Korea and Japan and many people really look up to them almost to the point of fetishization. They don't like each other though. But when asked to rank what countries they view favorably, Americans consistently rank Japan as one of the most approved countries along with Canada and the UK.
@@jakeryan4545 Comfort Women, Filipino Slaves, Russian labour camps in Manchuria, pretty much naything the japanese did there around world war 2 for about 30 years. I mean and thats just the easy, no work or sources required, version of the answer. Liberians even say japenese rice sucks and they gave it as food aid. I don't think either have a great world image
@@Mypromiselive I think you and I are looking at the video differently. I actually agree with you that there are plenty of reasons not to like Japan. But to me it was more what countries don't have haters not what countries deserved to have haters (or not). I also agree that Japan probably isn't a good fit because of how East Asian countries view them. But Japan is held in high esteem in the country I'm from (US) both based on what I 've experienced and based on any data I come across.
@@jakeryan4545 You make a good point with "what countries deserved to have haters", and although politically a lot of countries have issue with japan over their transgressions during empire days, a lot of people in the meme community, especially in the country human community, almost revere the japanese empire. Perhaps it is something country leaders & the older generation have more contention with. Although I stand by my statement that despite Japan & also Korea's cultural export being huge, they still do create a lot of haters even in removed places like Africa, as well as create rivals in their region.
