Another helpful tip is that once the mast is on fire, any kegs in the Crow's nest will immediately go off.

Right after the update I burned my own ship down after doing a skull fort but I forgot the stronghold barrel in the crows nest and by the time I remembered it was to late the whole ship was on fire so I just waited till the ship sank and disappeared and I got the stronghold barrel and sold it
They don’t immidiately go off

Starting a fire in order to bail water is such an unexpected and large brain move
Another tip: if you see a crew has kegs, use a fire bomb on the mast and it will detonate all of them kegs
I’ve actually been telling people to watch your videos because I started playing a week ago, and I can hit 99% of the harpoon shots and 99% of cannon shots after only watching a few videos. These are so helpful and people should watch these if they’re beginners.
U also can burn the ship when u put a banana on the oven and just wait ;-) Thats a little advice from me.

Me and my friend killed ourselves with a fish like that yesterday
that actually happened to me and a friend one time. We where doing duo galleon(yes yes) and my friend forgot something he cooked on the fire while we were doing some quest on some island. It took us a while to understand how our ship actually became a giant fire beacon
honestly, if you can tuck away i can see this having some practical use. Put a banana on the stove and keep doing it over and over again so they have to continuously put it out. much more inconspicuous than fire bombing, but then again less effective.
They could make the metal above the brig glow red so it’s easier to tell when it’s on fire

Holy heck! That kraken idea is genius! Just yesterday I got sunk by the kraken covering the stairs hole. This would have SAVED ME lol

@@reiokimura6519 from what I was told you have to shoot the other tentacles (not the ones holding the boat)
so a shotgun should work but I ran out of ammo and cannonballs stuck on top deck lol
@@nement I see, but ammo is below deck so you can keep shooting
@@nement If you get grabbed you have to shot the tip of the grabbing tentacle. It will appear next to ypur cannons and kond of "look" at you. After one or two shots it switches sides. Shoot it again and you are free.
Shooting the grabbing part of the tentacle or the other tentacles will do nothing to free you.

A technique I usually use is, when you're pirate is on fire find a bit of the ship on fire and splash yourself right on the fire, putting you and the wood at ease.
This was an educational experience I never thought I needed but am very appreciative that it was made. Thank you Phuzzy!
Putting out the fire on your character is actually the most helpful in urgent situations I think, because it stops the damage on you and it puts out the closest fire on the ship.

unless this all got patched, you could also use the chest of rage if you don’t want to waste firebombs but its of course more risky as you have to monitor it. my idea is when it’s not in use you can put it in a bit of water, then take it out if you need to bail onto it. although idk if you can still bail onto fires using water from the ship to put it out and remove the water

Hey Phuzzy, not sure if you know but you can throw firebombs at the bottom ships from under the water and set fires inside.

I was trolling my friend after we sold everything and were messing around.
I set the Boat on fire and we just watched it spread and when it sunk. I simply said

Hey phuzzy, you are the most calm person when it comes to PvP, I'm a rather new player in terms of PvP, no matter the situation, when an enemy player gets near me or I notice he's chasin me, my heart starts pumping blood like crazy, it might be cuz I don't have much experience in PvP but do you have any tip for calming my self? Other than just breathe slower if possible
Hello mate 😊 To stay calm you have to trust that things are under control, I used to be the same. The more experience I gained the more calm I got, and that includes knowing that you're about to lose because the opponent is simply more prepared, so lose with a smile, tell them Well Played! And then take notes what you would have done different to win this next time. Good luck 😎

One thing to add.... if you are on fire just stand in the square between the grid squares and splash yourself. It puts out all squares and you at the same time.
i figured out a good strat if you are getting attacked and now the enemy ship fired a firebomb at you, board up all but one hole, so you have a steady source of water and you don't have to rely entirely on the water barrel, and it can get jammed.

Tip: if you throw a gunpowder barrel near a stove and throw a banana on the stove you can have a “secret” time bomb

I practice in the devils roar to simulate fires during fights because volcanoes cause fires and holes, but it’s easily survivable

Hey Phuzzy, Could you make a cosmetic tutorial? Me and a group of friends just got back into sea of thieves about a week or so ago and we’re running across people that look really cool (Gold tattoos, gold chains for hand wraps, bandoliers across the chest, etc.) and we have no idea how to obtain these items. I have scrolled up and down you’re channel to find such a tutorial and haven’t yet found one that shows how to get clothing items that aren’t in the shop, maybe I’m just blind 😂

Sloops being the lowest ships in the water, they are the easiest to hit the deck making the crew unable to fight with it being the slowest speed except against the wind it makes any brig able to shoot first in full advantage during the fight since it only take one good player with 3 fireballs to effectively saturate the deck of a sloop in the important area. With it's limited crew of two who will most likely die if the first garage hits the deck, sloops are now the worst ship to be in a fight
How long does it take to destroy a sloop with fire/whats the best way?
C2 I believe is also good because it will ignite cannons, mast, and space below it.

My sloop got hit by a volcano today and it took me probably 15 minutes to finally put it all out
Thank you, even though i did my own testing i never noticed that fire spread in a perfect grid
The metal grate and other metal things should turn red/white/orange
When doing the Ashen fleet if you keep a small hole in the bottom of your ship you dont have to use the water barrel
Anyone know if you can still splash water on the bottom deck to cause a layer of water? Or was this patched out?
If you splash yourself over a fire, you and the fire get put out
All I just do is throw all the fireballs all around the enemy ship, then grab theirs, that they forget to take out of the cannon crate

You will win most fire attacks but there's not really a chance of staying alive when in every big attack like getting hit by a gun powder keg and then rapid fire attacks
I learned if you are on fire and stand on an on fire place they both will be put out
