I totally agree! So glad they got with the changes on that logo! However, I couldn't help but notice on looking at their newly revamped website that they no longer appear to offer any other drumset lines besides just the standard Concept series. No Concept Classics, no New Yorkers, no Mainstages, no nothing else. So, needless to say, I am VERY bummed that they have limited their choices so severely. I wanted so BADLY to have a Concept Classic setup as my next kit. :-(
FINALLY SHALLOWER RACK TOM DEPTHS!! For a long time i have wished that DW/PDP would offer shallower rack tom sizes instead of just the standard 10x8 and 12x9 on their pre configured kits. I hate that in order to get a DW/PDP kit with shallow rack toms you have to spend thousands on a custom order DW! They need to have pre configured kits in PDP concept, DW Design, DW performance and DW collectors with these rack tom sizes and all the finish options they would usually offer with these lines! PLEASE offer these sizes in more finishes than the blue and orange combination shown here! If you offered a PDP concept in these sizes with natural to charcoal fade finish id buy it right now! Id even love to see shallower toms than these! Say 10x6 and 12x7! I think they are awesome! They allow way more flexibility when positioning your toms over the bass Drum without a major loss in sound! I've tryed everything to get my standard 10x8 and 12x9 rack toms lower like I want them but they are literally less than an inch away from the kick and the only thing that would allow me to lower them more is if I have shallow tom sizes like these! I don't want to change any of the diameters of the drums like going down to a 20" kick because that will most definitely result in a huge change in sound where as changing the depth does not affect the drum near as much
